1. They should be represented at UN
Salameh ,   Gaza, Palestine   (09.27.05)
But in Geneva, at the defendants seats at the UN War Crimes Court. I suggest they build few more halls to fit all Israeli war criminals, as their number is just too high
2. to Salameh
Michael ,   Austin, TX, USA   (09.27.05)
the arabs LOST the war (and the war and the war and the war). The way this world works is the loser of the war does NOT dictate the terms of surrender. You're lucky Israel is such a noble country or all of you would be dead. If it was the other way around, if the arabs had won, I truly doubt if they would have been as noble.
3. I wouldn't give Israel a seat in a public toilet!
accessol ,   Spelthorne, England   (09.27.05)
A pariah state which has been carrying out a campaign of murder and land theft against another people for over half a century without cease doesn't deserve anytfavours from anyone, never mind get a Security Council seat. Not a day passes without Israel's murderous occupying army carrying out attacks against innocent people whose only crime is the completely legal and natural one which is to try to save their country from invasion by an uncivilised, uncultured and ignorant gang of thieves. If the day ever arrives that Israel begins to behave like a normal state then perhaps the UN should then allow it to provide cleaning and maintenance services at the SC for a few years, just to show that it at last understands that isn't the world's #2 superpower, at it thinks it is at present.
4. To Lenny if you are still there
accessol ,   Spelthorne, England   (09.27.05)
If I understand you correctly what you are saying is that there is a statute limitation on morality and on a subject people's rights; that after 50 years we should forgive and forget and carry on as if nothing happened, that there was no naqba, no Deir Yassein, no Tantara... That might be ok if applied to something like the shoah (though somehow I am think you will disagree there) which completed its horros in 1945 but on a crime that started over 50 years ago and still continues to this day there is no way one can wash one's hands and say let bygones be bygones. The Palestinians are not yet despite Israel's endeavours at the same state of annihilation as the Aborigines in Australia or the native Americans in the US and Canada; the Palestinians are backed by an increasingly strenghtening diaspora and support network and there is no way that Israel can wipe all that out. If you believe in a god that is just then there is no way that you can at the same time acquiesce to Israel's policy of genocide and theft. If hashem exists at all and is still alive or even if he is just a concept then he will surely cease to exist the day Israel achieves its deadly ambition and murders or deports the last Palestinian.
5. To Accessol
VB ,   Israel   (09.27.05)
This may shock you, but as a regional superpower and the center of world Jewry, Israel really doesn't care what you or your anti-Zionist buddies think of it.
6. Salameh
???   (09.27.05)
"I suggest they build a few more halls to fit all israeli war criminals." I suggest we build a cage around New Orleans to fit all palestinian criminals. Naaaa...never mind. I'd hate to see animals like you living so close to me.
7. Who's lost?
Salameh ,   Gaza, Palestine   (09.27.05)
You are either a new comer from Mars or you are blind? The last time I saw drafted army soliders running away was when your "undefeatable" army was fleeing Gaza, so who is losing? you and your extremists are on the run, so beware. As for nobles, I think your racism is just too much to contain, isn't it? You live amongs Goyims so the least you should have is respect. We are the true owners of this land, and no matter how long it will take, we will be victories, because history is wide open for all ito read including blind people like you.
8. what???
Michael ,   Austin, TX, USA   (09.27.05)
ummmm....Salami...you arabs LOST the wars. If you had won, there would be no Israel. But there IS an Israel and it's a real blow to your collective little egos that Jews beat your asses. Accept reality...you will NOT win. Try to be civilized and use negotiations and diplomacy. It is no longer, as arabs want to believe, but it is no longer the middle ages. GROW UP!
9. To VB
Hamassman ,   Palestine   (09.27.05)
shut up abut accessol. he is a good jew. not like you. he knows islam has always been good to the peoples of the book. islam will bring peace to the world.
10. To Hamassman
VB ,   Israel   (09.28.05)
Yeah, Accessol is the right type of Jew for you -- a dhimmi.
11. on that note
Girl ,   England   (09.28.05)
I think there is an innapropriate amount of childishness here. 'good jews' 'bad jews' - am israel chai, and more importantly am israel echad. enough already of this, we should be united as a people, it is the only way. and despite some soldiers not willing to expell jews from their home sit is understandable. if local imams told hamas to stop killing jews i'm sure there would be more peace in the world. if islam was really preaching love there would be more peace in the world, but islam comes from the root 'to submit'... so wheres the free will in that? Get a grip and ask real questions about the prevailing attitudes in the arab world. about honour crimes that go on today in the 21st century in arab countries, and even in arab parts of the west bank - why should israel not be duly worried about the poisoning of 'fallen' or 'dishonoured' women by violent aggressive and undereducated men. of all the money the PA receive, am i really supposed to believe that palestinian illiteracy rates are the fault of Sharon?
12. To Girl
Hamassman ,   Palestine   (09.28.05)
what you mean by "uneducated." don't you know that all maths and science comes from Arabs. listen to accessol. he is a wise jew.
13. Math and science come from Greece and Rome
Sean ,   Seattle, usa   (09.28.05)
The arabs have not created any thing on their own. Even islam is a mishmash of religion that existed before Islam. Learn some history. I challenge you to come up with one meaningful contribution to society from the arab people.
14. Hey, Salameh.
Howard ,   Pacific Coast, USA   (09.28.05)
You mistake self-restraint for weakness; in reality, self-restraint reflects strength. You mistake terrorism for strength; but terrorism is cowardice, a sign of weakness and not of strength. If Hamas & company ever posed a true threat to Israel's existence, Israel could simply flatten Gaza with artillery to get them. The fact that Israel has never done so reflects the truth of the situation: 1. Hamas & company are not a threat to Israel's existence. They is a bunch of deluded gangsters who prey on the gullibility and despair of people like you. 2. Whereas Hamas & company believe in targetting innocent people for murder, Israel has a general policy of targetting terrorists while minimizing other loss of life where possible. Palestinian terror gangs clearly understand #2, and count on Israel's self-restraint to keep Israel from simply pounding Gaza into rubble with artillery and bombs to wipe them off the map. However, #2 is an example of SELF-restraint. The moment your extremist idiots actually pose a serious threat to Israel, Israel will have no choice but to set such self-restraint aside and treat Gaza as an enemy country. So your friends' rocket attacks on a state that probably has nuclear weapons are not only idiotic; they are completely insane. You are incredibly lucky that you are dealing with Israel, which is strong enough to restrain itself, and not Syria or the Sudan, either of which would simply have committed genocide at the first sign of trouble (Syria did so at Hama, the Sudan in Darfur). But then, you know that, don't you? You spend a lot of time shouting threats and insults. Can it be that you, too, understand both #2 and #1? Perhaps you shout in order to drown out the little voice in your head that whispers about how insignificant you are. Hamas & co. do a lot of shouting too, for similar reasons, but at least they are gaining political power by doing so. What are you getting out of this?
15. ??Islam will bring peace to the world??
Bunnie Meyer ,   Santa Monica, CA   (09.28.05)
That is the most widespread lie in the world. How will they do that? By shooting children in the back in Chechnya? By blowing up trains in Spain? By blowing up buses and trains in Britain? By starving and killing blacks in Darfour? By bombing buses in Israel? By blowing up the world Trade Center? By blowing up American ships and barracks? Islam is a fraud and the UN is a useless conglomeration of third world mentalities who can only fail at everything they try to do. islam and the UN are proven failures, worthless ideas, worthless implementation. Just worthless.
16. Math & Science - silly people
Howard ,   Pacific Coast, USA   (09.28.05)
Good grief! Silly, silly, silly people. G-d gave us a universe whose profound mathematical beauty humbles us, and you waste time arguing about who discovered that beauty? The truth is that people of ALL religions contributed to discovering our mathematical and scientific heritage, from ancient Greek pagans to long-ago Muslim, Jewish and Christian thinkers to modern-day scientists of all faiths. Anyone who really cares about mathematics (or science) knows that mathematics (or science) does not belong to one religion or one political persuasion. If people treated mathematics the way some people treat political discourse, and only accepted results provided by their co-religionists, the world would be an impoverished place and math/science would be a "basket case." Einstein or al-Khowarizmi would have thrown up their hands at this kind of thinking. Those who can't bear the thought that they are standing on the shoulders of giants of many faiths had best find a different topic ;-)

ARABS came up with the concept of zero and its the JEWS that welfare from the world- phony lawsuits, bumming US tax dollars, holocaust 60 year old phony claims- etc etc. jews
18. israel already has a security counsil seat
edward ,   las vegas   (09.28.05)
as the 51st state, they are very well represented. the us/israel security council seat has used its veto more times than the rest of the members combined. the us also deserves blame for the war crimes and atrocities of the israeli illegal war against an unarmed, civilian population. using jets in refugee camps is not legal.
19. Salameh
Mitchel Smith ,   New York   (09.28.05)
Hey Salameh...my history is a bit faded...Who lost 6 wars against Israel? Which people have continued to be the most rotten and pathetic excuse but nevertheless full example of the full capability of the Arab and Muslim peoples? Why is it that you Palestinians continue to lie to yourself and others rather than admitting the true misery of your culture and faith....Israel strategic disengagement has only shown the world how incapable Palestinians are...
20. admitting the truth
J ,   Leeds, England   (09.28.05)
I don't know much about this but I just found a very interesting web site ... watch the video "pallywood.wmv" on http://seconddraft.org./movies.php. It is 18-minutes long ... Amazing ... can any Palestinians comment on this? I really feel betrayed by you if it is true ... how can I trust anything you say if this is true!

23. to all
Arieh ,   Guelph, Canada   (10.03.05)
I don't understand how one can label someone a "good Jew" or a "bad Jew" depdendant on their political beliefs. I also believe that Islam has the opportunity to do good but not if extremists continue to preach death to world Jewry and those who collaborate with Israel. The US seat at the Security Council is NOT an Israeli seat. It has vetoed numerous Council decisions in Israel's favour because of the large percentage of anti-Israel countries sitting on the UNSC (they make more than 50%). I can understand and appreciate that Israel simply wants to even the score when the vast majority of SC resolutions are regarding Israel and not any of the other problems in the world, including those affecting SC member countries.
24. It's about time
Yusef ,   USA   (10.03.05)
This is long overdue. Israel should have been given a seat at the Security Council decades ago. The only reason Israel has not been able to get one is the Arab and Muslim states have done everything in their power to prevent it.
