The reason is that the islamic mind is set upon the goal of conquering Israel and it is from that premise that they speak. The western mind thinks in terms of of agreements and fair-play, while the muslim reasoning process is based upon the premise that Israel must die. That is why they complain about a wall that does nothing but protect innocent Israelis from terror attacks, but frustrates the islamic goal of killing all Israelis. So it appears puzzling, the comments made by the muslims here, until you reframe the reference from peaceful coexistence to mass murder. In other words the Israelis are saying..."we are trying to defend ourselves but want to live in harmony", while the muslims are saying..."we want to kill all of you, how dare you build a wall and frustrate our terrorists, how dare you defend yourselves, how dare you exist" I now understand the comments made by muslims here, they are incapable of conceptualizing anything other than murder.
