1. Fascinating.....
(10.09.05)
here is a real example of incidious behavior on the part of a journalist and there isn't one single comment. Why is that? have you y-net been forced to censor because the comments were too strong? or because this is BBC, a British commentator and Al Jazeera and not CNN, an American Commentator and Al Jazeera the Americanocentric commentators on your site have chosen to ignore this item?
2. From al jazeera to al jazeera!
JJ   (10.09.05)
Not exactly a huge move there!
3. Finally out of the closet...
(10.08.05)
Its nice to see that the british are showing their true colors. This very anti western anti semetic news show will go well with a BBC reporter.
4. Al Jazeera will have huge audience in the US
JJ ,   Texas   (10.09.05)
As most people are sick and tired from the pro-Israeli, one-sided BS that is dominating the US media in all its forms. Hopefully, the American people will get a chance to know the truth about what is happening in the mideast from a crediable source.

mabrooka wala!! Now Al Jazeera has so much credibility because a white british man has joined their enterprise! they need the pandering of western figures to make them credible or at least make them feel that they're credible.

I'm not certain what accounts for the lack of commentary, but I can assure you there are a quite a few Americans who've had it up to here with the BBC, and I don't think this move will win David Frost many admirers either. In this country, there's the feeling that al-Jazeera is just a little too cozy with al-Qaeda because they're the ones who are always given access to bin-Laden's videos and also to those horrific beheading tapes put out by the terrorist insurgents in Iraq.
7. el jazeera el qaeda el bbc
jack hunter ,   melbourne australia   (10.09.05)
they are all one the same
8. To #4: Al Jazeerah a "peace loving TV station"??
Isac ,   Florida   (10.09.05)
Don't bet your money on it. You may loose it all. And words are cheap. Americans are not interested in media outlets which promote Jihad and bash the Americans including the American soldiers on being on a cruzade against the muslim world. Don't get fooled by your perception that Americans are stupid. They are very smart, and look through the charade of Al Jazeerah and other arab media outlets sewing hatred against Jews and Christians.
9. Al- Jazeera

I wonder what the price tag is for this Journalist???I heard that Al-Jazeera is quite a wealthy network .and does he really think that he will be allowed to be objective in his articales? If he thinks that he will be free to work as he has been working in the USA,then his paycheck must really be a big one?So I think this Arab Tv station will get exactly what they are out to achieve, more audience and higher ratings, think of it this way,all the muslims in the USA,will now be briefed up on all the propoganda eminating from the arab countries, and by an American CitizenWOW.What more could the arabs need ?Quote"AL-JAZEERA IS REPORTEDLY ON THE LOOK OUT FOR GLAMOROUS ANCHORMEN?WRITERS?AND PRODUCERS,PREFERABLY AMERICANS".In other words, they are the Infadels and the Satans,of this world, but we will still use them for our cause."So I personally think that, this Frost chap, must really believe in the principals of Al-Jazeera or he is just stone broke.
10. Lean the facts, Yitzhak
Ab ,   Muscat, Oman   (10.10.05)
Someone needs to point out to Yitzhak Benhorin that Frost is joining the English language Al-Jazeera International, not Al-Jazeera, so his fans won't have to "Arabic language news" to see him. His ignorance says a lot about this publication/website
11. ab-oman

Don't know what your problem is, I'm sure folks didn't imagine Sir David Frost speaking Arabic. It was blatantly clear in the sentence: "Al-Jazeera plans to launch an English-language channel in the spring of 2006. " Didn't that sentence get to you in Oman?
