With all due respect to Israeli officials, any comment on the internal affairs of Syria and Lebanon is 'out of line'. Franly, it is none of their business.
In addition, it is extraordinarily counter-productive. It will only lead to resentment and further demonization in both Syria, Lebanon and other International quarters (including the UN).
Again, with all due respect, these spokespersons need to know when to keep their mouths shut.

Syria had nothing to do with Hobeika's death Hobeika died a day after saying he was ready to testify in a case brought by Palestinians in Belgium accusing Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, who denies sanctioning the massacres when he was defense minister, of crimes against humanity.
