The children of Israel do not live under an oppressive and brutal occupation which consumes them 24 hours per day as Palestinian children do nor Israeli children see members of their families subjected to the same abuse and humiliation as Palestinian children which is carried out by the state and is official government policy. There is never a comparison to be drawn between the oppressor and the oppressed. If Palestinian children however were 'Jewish," then then they would be treated very differently as their parents also. That is the factor whch makes all the difference in the way a person is treated according to Israeli law and policies. Not exactly a great way to live if you just happen to be the wrong religion.

Jewish parents raising Jewish children in America is a good and wonderful thing that should be encouraged. But I think Ray is a huge fraud for devoting his life's work to publicly presenting himself as a Palestinian American and a great authority on how to make peace in the Middle East when he doesn't even honor his own ancestry enough to raise his own son as a Palestinian American Christian.
