I grew up in Syria on a border town with lebanon. I knew of this operation when the jews were being smuggled through my town only at the end the smugglers got either greedy or patriotric and murdered their "shipment" and burned them in a cave near town. They were three girls. The smugglers got life in prison for the murder!!
