Besides any propaganda from the right wingers pleaguing this site, on thing is clear : EU wants to play a role in this part of the world....and why not after all.. It doesnot cost anything ( besides taxpayer's money ) Either they can turn the bands of ragged "PA law enforcement personnel" into some organized police force , and they will then appear to get results and will probably get more involved or they wont be able to , and will still gain credit for having tried. For my part, I believe that the task cannot be achieved....In order to train people during this kind of mission, the " trainees" must first have some idea of what law , order and discipline are : Notions totally unknown to the Palestinians living in Gaza and on the West bank . Allah , reason, discipline and acceptance of "foreigners" maight prove to be a difficult pill to swallow for the Palestinian throats !
