I don't understand some of the attitudes regarding Rabin on the part of the right. First of all he was the leader of ALL Israelis not just liberal Israelis. And second of all he never called for a palestinian state or dismantling Jewish communities. And it has been right wing Sharon who has in fact carried out these policies, he went much further than Rabin ever did. Not surprisingly Clinton is still reviled yet the backstabbing bush boy is given a free pass.
