3. Druze criminal kills Palestinians, Palestinians give Druze
Salameh ,   Gaza, Palestine   (11.16.05)
While the druze occupation army solider killed Eman al-Hams in Rafah, Palestinian parents donate they "killed" son's organs to Druze, what an ironic act !! I wonder if Ayoub Kara and his Likud filth ponder upon what they've done so far ! Guess not, as it's craved in stone, once a criminal ALWAYS a criminal

5. Would Jews do the same
Tzippi ,   USA   (11.16.05)
It makes national news and brings Israelis to tears when they see an act of kindness from Palestinians. Why? Because this selfless act of kindness goes against the culteral grain of the Palestinians. Israelis risk thier lives every singel day to keep Arabs safe. Soldiers put themselves in the line of fire to protect the innocent, Drs. treat the wounded Palestinians who come to our hospitols, along with Israelis who some Palestinian tried to blow up. Jewish humanity is alive and well in Israel.
6. #2 JEWISH TERROR VICTIM'S KIDNEYS GIVEN TO ARAB WOMAN

Palestinian Given Israeli Bomb Victim's Kidneys Reuters ^ | April 4, 2002 | Palestinian Given Israeli Bomb Victim's Kidneys Thu Apr 4,10:10 AM ET JERUSALEM (Reuters) - A Palestinian woman received the kidneys of an Israeli victim of a suicide attack in a transplant operation Thursday. The victim, Zeev Vidor, died of his wounds a week after the attack by a Palestinian suicide bomber at a hotel in the seaside resort of Netanya as Israelis sat down for a traditional feast at the start of the Jewish Passover holiday. His family allowed his organs to be donated and recipients included Aisha Abu Said, 54, who lives in the Jerusalem suburb of Shuafat. The operation was performed in the Beilinson Hospital in the town of Petah Tikvah.
7. Another terror victim donated SAVING LIVESgreatest principle
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (11.16.05)
www.Haaretz.com AP Last update - 07:42 23/09/2002 Palestinian girl gets kidney from Scottish terror victim By Shoshana Kordova The family of Scottish terror victim Yoni Jesner is "happy and delighted" that one of Yoni's kidneys went to an eight-year-old Arab girl, said Ari Jesner, Yoni's eldest brother, on behalf of the family yesterday. "The principle of saving a life is one of the greatest principles and values of Judaism and one of the greatest principles and values on which the State of Israel is based," said Jesner, 26, at a press conference in Jerusalem.
8. #2 - yes, and here is an example
Howard ,   Pacific Coast, USA   (11.16.05)
Here are some examples. http://www.schneider.org.il/Eng/Index.asp?CategoryID=78&ArticleID=31 In particular, look for the paragraph that begins with the words, "There are some acts of humanitarianism". This is one medical center, one Jewish donor and one Arab recipient. There are others (Jew to Arab and Arab to Jew) who did not get the same news coverage. In particular, there are at least 6 Jewish terrorism victims whose organs have been donated to Arabs (I would have to dig for the source). The main thing to take away is that neither side has a monopoly on true heroism, just as neither side has a monopoly on screw-ups or evil. Both sides have some wonderful, incredibly giving people who are a credit to their respective communities. If every person had the courage, the open mindedness, the common sense and the love of life expressed by Ahmed's family, there would be no wars at all. May G-d bless them and shelter them.
9. #4 I thought as much
AK   (11.16.05)
Israelis are so eager to give "Palestinians" good press that they forget to give one themselves. I wonder why? Also, while it could be a coincidence, I find the "multicultural" makeup of the recipients interesting.
10. This is wonderfull!
Arab For Israel ,   Texas, USA   (11.16.05)
I really admire this palestinian family and I wish the majority of the Palestinians would build peace through noble gesture like this one...Peace will prevail one day!
11. Palestinian organ donor
kb ,   england   (11.16.05)
It is taken as a given that Jews save lives, any lives - what is poignant here is that people do not expect such an act from a Palestinian. I suspect that there are a lot mor like Ahmed's parents. Considering it is against what we expect from their culture, what they have done is in fact remarkable.
12. #1 callous comment -- no place on this story!

13. its just people helping people - its a good thing

14. #2we'll spread your organs in retaliation

15. Palestinian organ donor
chinil ,   IL   (11.18.05)
It's not the fact that the donor is Palestinian that makes the donation extraordinary. It's the fact that bereaved parents did agree to donate their son's organs, after he was killed by an Israeli soldier.
