Insane Israel led by fools and cowards punishes it's only sane citicens who try by non violent means to stop the deadly appeasment and surrender. At the same time Israel releases hundreds of Islamic terrorists to kill innocent Jews once again . There has never been such an evil government since Israel was re-born. Mr. Lefkovitch is a true hero ,one of few in a sick society which has lost it's soul and identity.

If everybody would do what he wants; block roads, burn cars, kill people... it would be a total chaos. What the government is trying to show herewith, is disciplin! Disciplin is the key of life. This guy was going to commit arson and block a major highway, causing people to be delayed in getting to work, to school, to the airport, possibly even to a hospital, and he's the salt of the earth? The sentence is, if anything, too lenient.

Blocking roads is a legitamite nonviolent protest. Was done all the time during the Vietnam War. I guess freedom of speech is non existant in Israel.

A clear message has to be sent to fanatics and forces of darkness from all sides that we will NOT tolerate a bigoted minority impose its standards on the rest of us through violence. If you disagree with actions of a democratically elected government, then use the political processes to change the government. An attack on the government is an attack on Israeli citizens who elected that government. Levkovich is a terrorist and may he have a jovial time in prison. (In my view, two years is excessive; nine months plus three years' probation would've sufficed.)

He does not deserve anything but a complement for trying to put a little delay in peoples life so they can have the time to think of what a absurd police run country we live in. We don’t even have the right to protest or the simple rights to live where we want and then get thrown out of our homes.

...you have to do it fairly, without blocking roads. first of all, the roads are not yours. you have no rights expect driving on it, and second, you can't just stop people from doing their daily basis, going to work or whatever... one thing steiner said (the rest was bullshit, as always) was right: if you want to protest against something or someone, then vote for the one who represents the same political intensions. but don't spread anger and agression over the land just because you have a problem man. besides, who cares what your problems are? there's a law... and if the government decides something, so it will be... because the majority of the land elected it. damn, guys! it's called disciplin!

While left wingers, from Peretz's union thugs on down block highways at whim, endangering public safety at many venues, no one gets arrested. Peretz, the thug master in chief, even gets nominated to head Labor for his efforts! In addition, Islamic terror preachers are arrested, and then inexplicably let out in a revolving door of justice (injustice) on a regular basis. If they want to exact a pound of flesh from this young man, having him pay a fine would surely be enough. Because the "authorities" themselves acted in such fascist manners during expulsion, who can blame those who resorted to desperate means? This harsh payback treatment will come back to bite the "authorities" in their asses soon. They will not last much longer in power. The people will take back their country from the few thousand who impose total control.

these road blockers behaved in an irresponsible manner and caused harm to many people. Don't believe me? check with MDA (Magen David Adom) and see how many people weren't able to get to hospitals because of these people and their roadblocks.

There is a big difference between standing your ground and breaking the law. These people are setting an example to the young who were following them like sheep. Not only did they endanger their lives, the lives of the followers and all the innocent drivers on the Ayalon. The right decision was made by the democratic state.
