1. The Perfect Scapegoat

Israel is always blamed for everything while the Arabs are usually given a pass because of the black golds they sell to the west. Id the moslmes had nothing to offer, Mecca would already be a pile of rubble and glass. The question we should be asking is ;When will Israel's appeasment led leaders say 'Enough of being the Scapegoat' ,stop groveling for a false peace and hit the jihadist hard without mercy ? I think it will take a mojor attack from Syria,Iran to get Israel to end the era of the Scapegoat.

It's realy too sad that israel only realizes it after the storm is already over. Better prevent it and act now, instead of waiting for innocent to die and have an "international reason" to attack them. I hope it'll be sharon's next step after elections.

Until Israel wakes up and realizes that it is in a war of attrition, nothing it does will thwart attacks from West Bank and Gaza Strip Arabs, as well as Hezbollah and other militant groups. Israel backslides each and every time it tries to counter Kassam and Katy rocket firings with a few hundred shells of it's own. The way to a man's heart is through his stomach, and the way to destroy the Arab murderers is through Beirut and Damascus. Israel should have a -0- tolerance policy and attack these two capitals to bring the war home to it's residents. It's simply not okay to fire rockets into Israel, but that message is not getting across. In the meantime, Tehran goes free, while Jews are dying daily. I would have occasional fly-bys with 300 F-16 and 15s, not over Lebanon but over Syria AND Iran....especially over their nuclear plant installations. That will send the right message, "Don't tread on me".

force will stop them, only determination will bring, if not peace, a cessation of terrorism.

The most effective means of dealing with the Palestinian terror gangs is to establish clear, internationally defensible borders and then to defend these borders with all necessary means. The current situation, in which settlers are scattered among increasingly embittered, hostile and rapidly growing populations, is inherently indefensible and unstable, and has no future. Will the security situation be perfect then? No. But when attacked by a neighboring country, Israel has all the military tools it needs to rapidly smash the aggressor. It can't use these tools effectively in the WB today because, as the government, it is directly responsible the place. By remaining in the WB, Israel guarantees that it cannot use its full strength. At the same time, remaining in the WB keeps innocent civilians within reach of a bunch of terrorist gangsters who prey, by preference, at innocent civilians. Realism calls for a reassessment, in which borders are rationalized and legitimized, and a lasting solution is signed and delivered. Israel does have the power to shape a strong and increasingly bright future. It must move to do so.
