There is one item in history which proves the Judaism of Jerusalem and the stupid hatred of europeans: HEP! or HIP, HIP! It does mean " Hierosolima ist perdita" Jerusalem is lost! It also became an antisemitic slogan in the eighteenth and seventeenth centuries. The connection is obvious.
