If the PA took serious steps to put the PIJ psychopaths in jail (or to execute them -- since they ARE "acting against Palestinian interests" at the behest of Syria, aren't they? By the PA's definition of treason, that is treason), then (1) Israel and the rest of the world would see Abbas as finally taking action against terrorism, (2) the peace process would accelerate rapidly, and (3) Abbas getting serious would squash the anarchy in the PA.
