Israel's soft approach has failed and there is no peace after 12 years of this effort. There was a time when Israel had red lines, There was a time when Israel held fast to it's security demands and refused to be bullied. Those days are long gone. The Palestinians know they can get all they want and more from an Israel in free fall. Israel ,always surrendering to and appeasing the Palestinians has only itself to blame when it's worst fears are realized. Israel has yeilded it's sovereignty over to an oppressive superpower which dictates a process which leads to only one place ,the lion's mouth and there is no real leadership in Israel to slow down or halt the downward spiral. There is no one in Israel speaking out against the Road Map ! In spite of the 12 + year record of U.S. failure with it's 'peace' plans starting with Oslo ,Israel continues to bow to unrealistic demands and caves in at every opportunity to the terrorists under U.S. pressure. Signs of desperation and suicide are evident and they only encourage Israel's enemies to fulfill their goal. Israel has become the great pushover, there is no part of it's body it will not saw off for a false peace ,no insanity they will not attempt in obedience to the suicidal Road Map vision of Mr. Bush. Israel ,once again is led passivly onto the cattle car's to the camps and eventually to the ovens.

It is long past due that Israel treat the Palestinians for what they are:a savage people steeped in blood lust. Israel, for its own sake, should totally shut down the crossings and let the world see how the Palestinians survive in their independence. Every other state, including the US, would shut its borders to a hostile neighbor without one word or comment from other states. Israel is no different. Shut the borders! It's ok, you dont live here, so you dont really know facts on the ground. The fact is, all these checkpoints exist in Palestinian areas, not on the borders, so your argument that their purpose is defensive is invalid. Putting our soldiers in these areas is simply irresponsible, it's an invitation to these kind of acts. It is a checkpoint which has Palestinians on both sides, which means it does nothing for the "Israeli Security". It is just another roadblock which stops the Palestinians from moving freely from a palestinian place to the neighboring Palestinian place, and is used by the Israeli Occupation Forces in order to make life harder for the Palestinians since it serves no particular reason. It is also a point of very high friction due to the presence of a refugee camp just across the street. So please guys, do not comment on anything unless you know what you are talking about. As for that leave them alone, well, we never asked for more than that, just leave us alone.
