1.  The New Party With The Old ' SAME'
NM ,   NY   (12.11.05)
Sharon jumped out of the frying pan into the fire..Now he waits for others 'to jump'.. This is another thing called 'Desperate Politicians Lost'.
2. Disgusting
Micha ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (12.11.05)
Where are there politicians with integrity? These men don't deserve to serve our country. They are opportunists. I am totally disgusted with the lot of them.
3. What can I say?
Michael Steiner ,   Praha, Eu   (12.11.05)
On the one hand, I'm really glad that haLiqud is turning into a marginal fringe group, like Mafdal or Meretz. We desperately need a commonsense party, which is not so bogged down in ideology that it cannot be pragmatic and flexible vis-a-vis the changing circumstances on the ground. On the other hand, Mofaz' defection is 99.9% sure to be opportunism. Katz is correct in this respect: to join Dr. Sharon having spent weeks slandering and reviling him does not do anything for Mr. Mofaz' credibility. Still, anything that renders the extremists (which now includes so-called Liqud) irrelevant is a welcome step. Long live King Arik!!!
4. When the going gets tough, the losers join Kadima
Disgusted Voter   (12.11.05)
5. Kadima, fascism on the rise!
Ilan ,   Ariel   (12.11.05)
Sure why not? Long live Dr. Duce Sharon, King and Absolute leader delux. Our new Big Brother. No more extremism, no left and no right. Only the word of our supreme leader. Long Live King Arik
6. To Micha and others
David ,   Karmiel   (12.11.05)
Come on Micha, a politician with integrity! Where do you find such a being? Israel is a democracy and Mofaz, in my humble opinion, the worst Chief of the General Staff and Minster of Defence in the history of Israel, just like all citizens, has the right to join any party he wishes and to vote for whom he wants. With Feiglin and Bibi in the Likud, I don't blame him for leaving. I heard Miki Eitan on the radio this morning and I would like him to tell us when he is going to wear a Kippah and how he can he live within a party that has caused so much hardship to the sich, handicapped and less fortunate in our country?
7. Good Riddens to bad trash!
Michelle ,   Israel   (12.11.05)
None of those that have joined the "corruption" party will be missed. When all the trash is gathered together in one big smelly pile it will be easy to find and dispose of.
8. Reply #3
Michelle ,   Israel   (12.11.05)
Get a new line if you love the corruption of King Arik so much then marry him. but don't wish him upon a country that you don't even live in .
9. What a lovely Zoo
Michael ,   Haifa   (12.11.05)
The rats are leaving the sinking ship of the fascist pigs to join the den of the venomous snakes of Kadimah.
10. If Yassir Arafat was alive today....
Abdullah Al-Molah ,   Kuwait City, Kuwait   (12.11.05)
he would have quit PLO and joined Kadima party ;-)
11. To Michelle
David ,   Karmiel   (12.11.05)
You seem to have a very short or selective memory. Have you forgotten the corruption and the scandals in the Bibi Government? Yep, the whole lot of them, our politicians, with very few exceptions, are bad bunch with only their self-interests at heart and the worst of all is guess who? If you said Bibi, you get second place. If you said Amir, go to the top of the class!
12. Who would have voted for Mofaz?
Johnny Weintraub ,   Sugar Land, Texas US   (12.11.05)
The only "accomplishment" of Shaul Mofaz that I am aware of is to order worshippers in synagogues in Gush Katif to be carried out with force. This "qualifies" Mofaz to be the leader of Likud? Mofaz would better fit in with the bunch in Meretz, or even Hadash.
13. Kol Ha'Kavod
Andy ,   Washington, D.C.   (12.11.05)
Kadima with Sharon! Only that party can bring stability, peace and prosperity. Who is Silvan Shalom left with: B.B. Netanyahu? Uzi Landau? Limor Livnat? Morons all......this bodes well for Mofaz.
14. Reply to #11
Michelle ,   Israel   (12.11.05)
My memory is not short, I can promise you that. I wouldn't trust Bibi or any of the others as far as I could throw them but Sharon and sons and their merry gang are in my mind some of the worst.
15. Kadima is Likud B
Shimon Z. Klein ,   Bat Chefer, Israel   (12.11.05)
Likud is disintegrating to the right wing margins of Israeli politics. The authentic Likud is Ariel Sharon's Kadima Party which resembles the Likud-Labor coalition prior to Labor's resignation from the Sharon coalition. When Kadima wins the elections, as it almost certainly will, there will be the same old bickering between the left and right factions and the party could split. There will be no change for the common citizen as all the players in cabinet posts will be ex-Likudniks. A leopard never changes its spots even if it changes its party.
16. Who trusts Mofaz????
(12.11.05)
First he says Likud all the way, and he will never join Kadima, and that he was offered a spot by fatso senior at kadima but he wont take the offer Now less than 3 days later he change his mind!! Would you trust someone like this??????????????
17. Mofaz: I have plans to revive the likud and
(12.11.05)
have been offer a position by Sharon but I didnt take it hes telling....lies lies lies lies
18. Those that choose the Kadima Party....
Eliyahu Yaffe ,   Tzfat, Israel   (12.12.05)
I applaud those who'se concience has dictated them to switch over to Kadima. They feel that's it's the right thing for them & the country to do so. Why are so many people critizing them for what their concience tells them is right?
