AK   (12.11.05)
They even beat the "Palestinians,” and that seems like an impossible task. So how many days has it been since Iranian President had announced to the world his desire to do away with Israel? And now this Iranian representative has a gall to ask the Israeli scientist to intercede on Iran's behalf? Amazing. It shows that the Israeli scientists may just be considered by Israel’s enemies to be the most gullible and naive people by the world, in addition of lacking any self-respect. I bet, some idiot-Israeli is bound to interpret this as a sign of Iran’s peace overtures.
3. IRAN SCIENTIST WANTS ISRAELI HELP
DEBRA ,   USA   (12.11.05)
IRAN IS CRACKING UP, BIG TIME. MAYBE THEY ARE ALL ON DRUGS.
4. Why not?
Michael Steiner ,   Praha, EU   (12.11.05)
There's no reason we should not cooperate even with our enemies (which are not the Iranian people but the regime) for the benefit of the humankind.
5. ove to think that we were co-working on something with Iran
Michael ,   tel aiv   (12.11.05)
this seems a very clear cut issue to me .. the more reciprocal/economic programs that we have going with a country the better. Take Egypt and Jordan right now - they don't want to attack us - they want to learn and to grow. I would love to think that we were co-working on something with Iran, Mike

7. Iran asking Israel for help
Hilda ,   US   (12.11.05)
I really don;t know whether to laugh or to cry. Remember their earthquake and Israel offering assistnece? Their answer was they would accept help from any country but not from Israel/Jews. I am usually a trusting person but what could their ulterior motive be?
8. There are Two ways to look at this
Eyal ,   USA   (12.11.05)
well frankly, there are two ways to look at this... he can be a good man that wants to set aside the political differences and benefit Science... maybe he even did that without someone telling him to do so (we will know if this is the case if his head will be chopped off in the next week or two... which i hope will not be the case for him). the other way of looking at it... i don't have to say it right?
9. #5 To Michael
Eyal ,   USA   (12.11.05)
we are cooperating with them... we are still selling them wepon....
10. #4 When someone tells you he hates you
AK   (12.11.05)
and will destroy you, you take him at his word and treat him as an enemy. And never, ever gravel in front of him; you never pay off bullies and never stick out your butt to be kicked. You claim to be a Jew, so, please answer me: are all European Jews that subservient? Straightens your back and act like a free man.
11. #5 Why don't you take Soviets and nazi Germany, as example
AK   (12.11.05)
I just knew some Jews will just jump at the chance to "build bridges." Unfortunately, so did the Iranians. They have got your number, unfortunately, you haven't theirs.
12. Hahahahahahahhahahahaha!!! When they need us...
(12.11.05)
...all of a sudden theyre prepared to calm down and kiss ass?
13. You don’t deserve for asking for help
Marty ,   Kuwait   (12.12.05)
You don’t deserve to be asked for any help when some of you react this manner by such a small issue.
14. Iran/Israel Alliance
Marty Martieve ,   USA   (12.13.05)
Imagine what the world would be like if the Iranian determination, capabilities and persistence were to be added to those of Israel. The world would be a much better place and these two ancient people could set the tone for everyone. lakhayam
15. The great divide
Kaveh K. ,   San Francisco, USA   (12.13.05)
This only demonstrates that the great divide is not between the people of Israel and Iran, but a tiny minority in Iranian government and the two nations. Most Iranian scientists do not agree with or sympathize with the isolationist ideals of their "president." One has to recognize that.
