1. And the world yawns including
Haim ,   Jerusalem   (12.13.05)
who is to be the strongest mightiest country on the planet..........THE UNITED STATES. I just heard the UN and the EU is unwilling to sanction Iran and Syria for that matter. And in the mean time for a failed war in Iraq the US can and will not do anything. And George Bush was supposedly waging a war on terror. His once but very temporary balls of steal are nothing more than a pretend wolf blowing hot air. How hugely dissapointing. Oh yah, I see here on Ynet a picture of Condi Bush blowing hot air too telling Syria they are 'obliged to comply.' Right! How many times has the US said this and what if anything will they do? We know Syria along with Iran have supplied the insurgency in Irag. We also know truckloads of weaponry and who knows what else left Irag for Syria in the early days of the Iraq war. HOW DAMN LONG AGO WAS THAT AND WHAT HAS BEEN DONE ABOUT IT. Next is the problem of Russia who also is part of the so-called quartet of arab appeasers better known as the quartet for phony peace. Anyway, Russia has OPENLY supplied missles and arms to Syria while at the VERY SAME TIME is building the nuke facility for Iran. Well, well.........how much more need anyone say as to this corupt fake war against terror and all their players. What a joke. Bush takes Abbas to the White House and calls him a man of peace while at the same time giving the ol brass knuckle to their supposed ally Israel. The double standard set upon Israel from the US is shamefull and bankruupt of scrupples. And the world yawns. Little however does this world understand that what goes around comes around. If Iran lifts a finger against Israel the entire world will explode but in the mean time they all yawn even though their cheap many act play of evil is being exposed. In the end I blame the US even more than the devils Iran and Syria because they are doing nothing. I even blame the US even more than the corrupt and appeasing Eurabia for the US is the strongest mightiest country on earth and they are doing nothing but flapping their jaws blowing out hot air and lies. thank you.
2. Beilin-Sarid response: "Nuclear Iran is no threat"
Tomer ,   Ramat Hasharon   (12.13.05)
These guys are always right - lets rely on their analysis
3. Jewish Brilliance
Moon Chauhan ,   Santa Barbara, US   (12.13.05)
Is it not rather extraordinary that a nation built by those who abhor concentration camps are now allowing such camps within the Middle East. Instead of applying the brilliance of the Jewish mind to building nuclear bombs, why not use it to resolve the Middle East quagmire by tackling the divide and conquer strategy being employed by the oil hungry aggressor nation. It may benefit Israel on one level but not in the long run.
4. #1 You are right +
Ram ,   London   (12.13.05)
Whilst we all know the US and EU are dragging their feet, we should focus on the dependence of Israel on the US. Israel must now concentrate on survival instead of US appeasement for its generosity. It has become clear there is no sense of urgency by the international community to stop Iran from attaining the bomb. On the contrary........... I hope and pray with all my might that the Israeli government, in whose responsability is the safety of the Israeli citizens and the country itself, is determined, ready and able to eliminate this threat imminenently. To hell with the international community if within weeks they do not act.

6. Halutz and His Threats, Again.....
Adina Kutnicki ,   NJ, US   (12.13.05)
We shall see how long Halutz and his group talk tough, and do not allow PA terrorists "safe passage". I suspect it will take these leaders one week to break under US pressure. Bush (as a Republican I want to puke) had the gall to state yesterday in Philadelphia that Israel has an obligation ! to help the PA and others in the region to achieve "democracy". That without this help Israel will have its existence threatened. Now, who is doing the threatening to Israel here? It looks as if Bush is threatening his "friends". Instead of telling the PA savages that the onus is rightly on their shoulders to give up terror, he creates the situation where Israel has to prop up the PA regime or else.....

"Bush had the gall to state yesterday in Philadelphia that Israel has an obligation ! to help the PA and others in the region to achieve "democracy". That without this help Israel will have its existence threatened." Hehe, you missunderstood this one hard, girl. He wasn't threatening us, he was pointing on the issue, that if we wont help the region to get a democracy state, they will turn against us (like already) and terrorism will rise even more. But you know, israel is sick of playing the babysitter all the time...
8. What are we waiting for???
Michael Steiner ,   Praha, EU   (12.13.05)
9. Same thing different story
Isac ,   Florida   (12.13.05)
The Europeans and the U.S. are again (after the Holocaust) deeply "disturbed and outraged" by the comments of the Ayatollah regime in Iran. Does that change anything? NO!! Therefore, in this particular regard, Israel must take ALL necessary steps to confront this real and present danger!!! Forget about the demands from the Palestinians, U.S. and the EU about the so called "Peace negotiations" right now, the focus must be completely on eliminating Iran's nuclear weapon's threat. There is no second chance!!!
10. listen and understand.
(12.13.05)
Neigther USA, nor Israel can do anything at the moment against Syria or Iran. Too late. The Iranians have the right to own nuclear technology as long as USA and Israel has got them. Russia understands that Israel and USA are not particularly fond of her, so they find their own allies. Nuclear Iran is not a threat to Israel, but if israel attack iranians, it is really a different matter! the threat will be doubled. You might find surprises on both sides. Live with a nuclear iran. There is nothing that can be done by Israel or USA. USA is giving its last breaths in Iraq. Israel is hardly able to deal with Hizbollah and the Palestnians. Europe is watching both, USA and Israel!

Is it not extraordinary that you do not grasp the mentality of the enemy? Divide and conquer is a strategy for dealing with the civilized. The Iranian government is not civilized and I find it extraordinary that you do not understand that and instead put the onus on Israel to chat.

(12.13.05)
As to Europe watching, who gives a damn. As to dealing with Hizbullah and the Palestinians, Israel can very easily deal with both if everyone would shut up and let her. As to Iran, a maniacal regime like that having nuclear weapons is in no way parallel to the US, Israel or Russia having nuclear weapons. Get real.
13. Israel's Appeasment is Weakness, invites war
Marcel ,   Florida   (12.13.05)
Israel`s spineless politicians have show the world weakness and capitulation since Barak`s retreat from S.Lebaonon in the middle of the night. All this appeasment which Israel`s leaders assumed was for a nebelous peace is actually leading to war. Israel`s fatal mistake was hitching it`s only wagon to the Bush Road Map. This has only weakened Israel and shown her to be a push over an easy kill.Iran has been fed to believe ,now is the time to end Israel. A weak Israel invites the circling sharks in for the final kill. My question is ;Will Israel fight to defend itself or will Israel go for Masada II ?
14. the same fear
(12.13.05)
the fear in the eys of the Israelians because of the Iranian neuclear weapon is the same fear like all the Middel East had and still have because of the neuclear arsenal in Israel .... that's life ... what you do today comes to you tomorow .... start with your self before you ask the others to start
15. #12 Why maniac !?
ABC   (12.13.05)
Why shall the Iranian regime be not parallel to the US and Israel? At least Iran has never comitted war crimes!! Whom would a sane human support if he were to choose between a strict regime (though freely elected) and a democracy which commits war crimes!? If for the comments, the Iranian president has just said what he has on the mind, something that, by the way. many JUST don't have the guts to say!
16. #15, you don't realize youre insane because...
Oy Gavalt ,   Zion   (12.13.05)
... well, because you're insane!
17. Ó Jeusalem
Mauricio ,   Brazil   (12.13.05)
It is delightful that the president of Iran speaks his mind so that there is no confusion about his intentions. Given Muslims belief that the afterlife is preferable to our short time here on earth AND that the destruction of Isreal is paramont and Muslims killed in pursuit of the destruction of Isreal are martyrs with all the attendent benifits I will predict that they will nuke J`lem as soon as they can. So, those who wish to visit the holy land before its destruction, HURRY UP! Think of it, deciding to decimate thousands of jews and palistinians in the pursuit of wiping Isreal of the face of the earth, its clear that Iran will not hesitate to kill since Muslims go to paradise, Jews just die, and Isreal is wiped, partially, off the map.
18. #16 Typical
ABC   (12.13.05)
Actually I can find no better confirmation to what I'm saying than an insult coming from a Zionist!
19. #15
Jane ,   New York   (12.14.05)
I say maniacal because that is what the Iranian government is. Strict regime my wahoonies. It is a theocratic dictatorship, opposed by the majority of the people who were coerced into voting for them (if in fact it was a fair election, which I doubt). As to war crimes, give me a break you twisted lefty! As to saying what is on his mind, his mind is dark. He is a Holocaust denier which, by your not addressing that issue, is obviously something with which you have no problem.
20. #18
Jane ,   New York   (12.14.05)
Here's another insult from another Zionist. You are a lefty, facist loving, terrorism-excusing, anti-Semitic piece of waste. And there's more guts to say even more. The US and Israel, not to mention France, India and Russia, would not use nuclear weapons just because they have a personal hatred for a group of people. Iran would. That's the difference, you idiot.
