It was 3 out of 10, now it's 5 out of 10. This means that less than 1 out of 3 people who voted for an Arab party now intend to vote for a Zionist party, and one of those 3 is voting for Kadima and the other 2 for Labor (is there so much of a difference?). In our era of hafuch al hafuch, when Likud becomes Kadima and the NRP becomes Likud, when the PA's Fatach is about to split into 2 or 3 factions (only 1 of has no military wing of its own), when 1/3 of a party's leadership can switch parties at the blink of an eye, why should this be so surprising? What it means is that the right is moving more to the right and the left more to the left. The so called "Zionist" parties of Labor and Kadima are now within striking range of meeting the interests of Arab citizens to de-Zionize Israel. The pity is that Abbas will delay elections and these leftists won't be able to deal with a truly representative Hamas led government, because if a Hamas led government was elected before our elections, the rightists would probably win in Israel. Anyway, Labor for all intents and purposes is a wing of Fatah anyway. Whether Kadima is, we'll soon find out.
