Despite the good intentions of Congress, rest assured the US will deal with the PA, despite this resolution. Hamas will be immersed in the entire gov't , and the US will state that national security precludes this resolution. How do I know this? There was a resolution in the Congress declaring Jerusalem the capital of Israel. How many times now has the executive branch stated "national security concerns will not allow its embassy to be moved to Jerusalem". In addition, the US will not even recognize Jerusalem being stamped on its passports. Any other proof needed?

Voting does not a democracy make. Not in the real sense and surely not in the case of the Palestinians. I don't care who said it. Democracy is earned. Period.
