1. Israel & Nethanyahu: made for each other
accessol ,   Spelthorne, England   (12.19.05)
Dear Israel, you are very lucky to have found a leader who suits you so well. This is a match, one could truly say, that is made in heaven; you certainly deserve each other and may hashem give you both your just deserts. Surely your website won't censor these heartvelf wished for the future.
2. Sarcasm in answer to Accassol.
Haim ,   Ra'anana   (12.19.05)
Dear Accassol, Your sarcasm is not appreciated. Coming from a country which, because of its colonialism and selfishness, caused so much suffering throughout the entire world, your antagonism means little. My advice is stay in your little England and keep your antagonisms to your own souroundings.
3. No fire in their eyes
Aaron Hassid   (12.19.05)
Could the reason for Shalom's activists not having any fire in their eyes have something to do with the fact that a vote for Shalom was a vote to admit defeat and become a branch of Kadima? If Shalom had given even one example of where he differs with Sharon and would lead the Likud as it's own party, he probably would have won.
4. Great!!
Michael Steiner ,   EU   (12.19.05)
Now the swords can be drawn: there's a clear difference between the party of commonsense, led by the greatest hero of Israel since King David, and the marginal group of introverted extremists, led by a sleazeball. QADIMAH IM ARIK!!
5. Another Puppet of U.S.
Marcel ,   Florida   (12.19.05)
Will Israel settle for vassal state and bow to U.S. policy which dictates the salami cuts of Israel piece by piece ? Netanyhau has proven to be another whose loyalties are first and foremost to a foreign power. Israel ,a nation under the thumb of the new Imperial Rome and it's Ceasar Bush.
6. Arabs like assesshole and Michael don't like Bibi.
Daisy ,   USA   (12.20.05)
Because he kicks ass!
7. Michael Steiner
Israeli   (12.20.05)
I can just picture you waving your white flag. If you think Netanyahu is an extremist then it is quite obvious you have no idea about Israeli politics. Keep quiet and enjoy the EU with the rest of the apologists.
8. Bibi believes only in Bibi
Madzionist ,   Diaspora   (12.20.05)
He is an opportunist who sold out Israel to the moslems once and will do so again in a heartbeat if it gets him invited to a fancy statesmen's ball, or a chance to score with some celebrity hottie. Watch the likes of Feiglin and Elon grow more powerful, as they stand for something bigger than political gain and personal wealth. They stand for Israel's best interests first, while the rest of the world - particularly the Jew hating arabs and the morally bankrupt EU - can go drop dead. True, Netanyahu is better than Yassir Sharon, as Sharon has totally sold out to the dark side, while Bibi still pays some attention to those who care about Eretz Yisroel, but in time Bibi will backstab the right just as bad as Sharon for the intoxicating fame and fortune of leftwing approval.
9. Beyond one-man rule, democracy over fascism
Ilan ,   Ariel   (12.20.05)
The Likud is a democratic party unlike the fascist creation of King Arik. The days are long gone when the people needed to turn to a octogenarian tyrant to order their affairs. You can't go forward when your feet are made of clay (see Daniel).
10. to poodleboy #1 englands a-hole
(12.20.05)
you and tony are made for each other in fact you should ask your mommy permission if you can take him on a date you both lie through your teath with a straight face he used to be a lawyer, thats his excuse whats yours poodleboy?
11. DOES ANYONE FIND THIS QUOTE OF UZI LANDAU IRONIC??
Hirsch   (12.20.05)
HAARETZ NEWS UPDATE: "00:37 Uzi Landau: Feiglin is not part of the Likud Party (Channel 10)" Seems Uzi was thinking something else all along.........
12. Bibi Has Made A Difference
Digital Heretic ,   The Holy Land   (12.20.05)
Speaking and and American gentile I have to say that Netanyahu was the first leader in any political arena to lead his nation by example. Under his leadership Israel was better represented and freer than my own country. Bibi is an outstanding leader and a true lover of his country. As PM, I have no doubts that the interests of ISRAEL will be looked to instead of the interests of her enemies which are being met by Mr. Sharon. Maybe those displaced Israelis from Gaza can go home. One can only hope. And it it Bibi who provides that hope better than all other candidates. Oh and to acessol, you shame yourself every time you speak. Don't you have a rock to throw at some tanks?
13. "Likud moving forward"
Michael Steiner ,   EU   (12.20.05)
In addition to being a shameless demagogue and sleazy opportunist, it looks like mad Bibi can't even think of an original slogan. COPYCAT. We are moving forward indeed, but qadimah rak im ARIK!
14. Whoever wins, Israel loses, why don't REAL JEWS run?
Bunnie Meyer ,   Santa Monica, CA   (12.20.05)
15. whatever happens -
thr ,   slo   (12.20.05)
just make sure there will be absolutely no more concessions. This should be the nr one national concern after the disengagement.
16. place Feiglin high on Chaver Knesset list
ely steinlauf ,   jerusalem, israel   (12.20.05)
In spite of warnings that voting Feiglin & his Jewish Ideals Platform would cause Sylvan to win and join in supporting Sharon's leftist policies, the will of the voters was instead Jewish-Nationalist -Rightist indicated by majority Natanyahu/Landau 47% +Feiglin 15% (total 62%), therefore Feiglin should be recommended/slated by Natanyahu to appear registered amongst the first 10 on the Chaver Knesset list in the elections on January 3. This will be a winning ticket in the general elections as the the voters will look to correct the sin of treason that Sharon committed against his supporters in the last election by implementing the platform of Mitzne/Barak/Labor instead of the nationalist rightist Likud platform that he ran for. Dr. Eliyahu Zvi Steinlauf, Advocate
17. lol!!
Michael Steiner ,   EU   (12.20.05)
Netanyahu is a sleazeball who's somewhat dextrous with numbers but nothing else (and even the number part is dubious as poverty increased under his treasury portfolio). Israel doesn't need an extremist faction leading the country. Qadimah is the only way forward.
18. Unlikely
Chrisona ,   Chicago.IL   (12.20.05)
Likud will probably spin around for a while and then forget about itself.
19. "Low turnout causes concern"
Chrisona ,   Chicago.IL   (12.20.05)
This should be the number one concern.
20. To #17
Digital Heretic ,   The Holy Land   (12.20.05)
You are liking your newly aquired home in Gaza, I take it? Must be nice to be handed something you neither worked for or earned. Your terrorist ideals are seen by all. Kadima is the way of Israel death and you know it, don't you?
