1. Kassam attacks
gerschor ,   Raanana, Israel   (12.26.05)
I don't know why the residents are upset. They must have patience. There are still some empty fields and abandoned buildings which have not been shelled yet by the IDF.
2. If it was an IDFshell on a Palestinian school
Marcel ,   Florida   (12.26.05)
This talkback would be full of trojan Jews and every other kind of anti-semetic creature attacking the Jews .So far there are only 2 posts on the subject of Islam's penchant for killing children first ,women second and men third. These hypocrites only show up when Olive trees are trimmed or a fence is built to keep the killers out .
3. It is time to strike back
Juke ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (12.26.05)
It is time to strike back with full force before the situation gets out of hand. It is time that we stop shooting at emtpy fields. It is time that Ynet and the media reports on the Palestinians have smuggled in from Sinai to the Gaza Strip a monstrous amount of lethal explosives, to improve the precision and effectiveness of the Qassam missiles fired across the border against Israeli towns and villages. Under the eyes and ears of the PA, Egyptian, and EU. It is time that we stop listening to the US and EU and start acting on what is good for us and not what is good for the world.
4. Ground troops must enter Gaza
MARK ,   USA   (12.26.05)
Enough Kassams!! Attack all innocent men, women, children now! Attack schools in Gaza. Destroy homes. Use nuclear weapons if needed, now!!!!!!!!!
5. #2
C Solis ,   Hallandale, FL   (12.26.05)
Well said. In an anti jew society, you only here what happens and who was hurt when it's the jews doing the shooting. Somebody better wake up.
6. Plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose
Kate ,   London   (12.26.05)
Jewish children being murdered while Europe remains silent. Nothing much ever changes.
7. our fine media
Robertk ,   Jerusalem   (12.26.05)
On Channel 2 8:00 news this evening they did not report on the Kassam that almost hit the kindergarten kids at the kibbutz. Just did not report it. They figured that since they were already giving a (censored) report on Sharon's medical problems, talking about Kassams on a kindergarten might really sink that new love of the Left, King Arik.
8. Disgraceful LACK Of Outrage
Adina kutnicki ,   Nj   (12.26.05)
What dilemna is this writer talking about when he states that the security establishment does not know whether to put into action the plan to create a security strip to curb rocket fire? How astonishing and twisted is such a sentiment. Does it mean that in order to employ adequate defense of ones citizens, the security establishment needs to see Jewish dead bodies strewn about? Are they only a reactive force as opposed to a protective force? Russian roulette with citizens lives is the order of the day in Israel's delusional "security" realm. Such an attitude from Israel's corrupt leaders is enough to make you vomit.
9. KATE
Marcel ,   Florida   (12.26.05)
Good to read you now realize ,any show of weakness only emboldens the enemy. Now ,if only Sharon would get it or get out !!! The more things change the more things stay the same" ? I wonder where Steinder is with his outcry. He never misses an opportunity to attack with ferocity those 'evil Jewish settlers " I guess terrorists attacking Jewish children doesn't reach to his level of importance.
10. To Those who supported disengagement
sw ,   raanana   (12.26.05)
The Kassams are increasing. Sharon's retreat from Gaza will not remembered on election day.
11. Michael calls these people crybabies!
Ilan ,   Ariel   (12.26.05)
Easier to blame the victim than put the responsibility on the government which evicted thousands on the false promise that it would bring security.
12. A miracle HaShem didn't strike dead "peace now" traitors.
Bunnie Meyer ,   Santa Monica, CA   (12.26.05)
13. ISRAEL CONTINUALLY COOPERATES WITH HER ENEMIES!
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (12.26.05)
Israel suffers non-stop terror attacks in the unceasing religious war of global jihad, but under U.S. pressure Israel's weak leaders refuse to fight back and defeat the enemy. The continual WAR that Israel ACCEPTS but does NOT respond to, has tremendously damaged the economy. Under U.S. pressure Israel rewards her enemies! Israel gives her Land, assets, money and resources required for her defense to the enemy! Gaza Jews' thousands of greenhouses and hundreds of farms generated millions of dollars needed for Israel's defense. Israel seized these valuable assets and Jewish land and gifted them to the Islamist enemies sworn to Israel's destruction. The Jewish owners are left in deep poverty; jobless and homeless. Jewish Gaza has been transformed into terrorist training camps and a global base for terror. The immoral, EVIL response of terrorist enablers, U.S. EU, and UN, is to allow the terrorists to duplicate this success in Judea and Samaria. They demand another wicked crime against humanity is perpetrated. The cruel ethnic cleansing of 250,000 Jews made jobless and homeless and forced into deep poverty. And Jewish land gifted to Israel's enemies giving Islamists strategic military advantage over a tiny, weakened Israel reduced to an INDEFENSIBLE border of 6-10 miles wide at her middle ENABLING CONQUEST OF ALL ISRAEL. Israel needs a King David.
14. Judenrat
Yosi ,   New York   (12.26.05)
The Judenrat in Poland continued to function until they received an order to have a certain number of children at the railroad station to be ready tfor transport for the concentration camps. When the Judenrat relaized they could no longer save children they disbanded. Here the Judenrat is thriving. nonwithstanding their complete collapse/ Thier only function at this time is to hand over whatever is left on Israle..
15. Linda Rivera
Marc West ,   Houston, USA   (12.26.05)
Linda, my dear... I love your program. Stay focused, Stay strong. We will defeat our enemies...w/in Israel and w/o. Happy Chanukah MW
16. Brave freedom fighters target innocent children
Cynthia ,   USA   (12.26.05)
Let's see how brave these abu-Fadis look when the IAF catches them on their radar. They provoke Israel, cry victim and take no responsibility for the predictable response they bring upon themselves.
17. Response to Marcel #14
Kate ,   London   (12.26.05)
"Good to read you now realize ,any show of weakness only emboldens the enemy." I still think, on balance, it was right to leave Gaza from a military standpoint. The only territory I'm absolutely against handing over to the Arabs is any part of Jerusalem, the Golan, and such land that is considered necessary for Israel's defence in the West Bank. And I don't disagree with your basic premise about showing weakness ("Never complain and never explain" said Disraeli in similar vein), but I believe that there are other issues to take into account here. And I don't say this because I give a toss about the Arabs - they've done nothing to deserve our consideration and much to earn our total contempt. I do say it because I believe it's the other way forward for the Jewish state in a very imperfect world. On the other hand I'm very worried that Sharon has sold his soul to Bush, and I wouldn't trust a member of the Bush family as far as I could throw them.
18. Response to Yosi re Jundenrat
Kate ,   London   (12.26.05)
Yosi writes: "When the Judenrat relaized they could no longer save children they disbanded." Not in Lodz under Chaim Rumkowski. I'm sure you must recall his "Give Me Your Children" speech. Incidentally, I understand that Rumkowski was beaten to death along with a colleague in Auschwitz (Rumkowski had been sent in one of the last transports from Lodz) by a kapo and former resident of Lodz who recognised him. A fitting end for that particular traitor, I'm sure you will agree.
19. A response to Linda #13
Kate ,   London   (12.26.05)
Linda writes: "Israel needs a King David" Or maybe a Queen Linda.... :-)
20. Sold out
steve ,   Denver, USA   (12.26.05)
For all the peace and security the pull-out has achieved...Maybe someone should follow the "Money". Mistakes of this size are bought or traded for personal gain.
21. Shelling of sites in Isreal
Ronald Watson ,   Ione USA   (12.26.05)
I have watched Isreal's progress in appeasing the terrorists without comment , however; I believe that the nation of Isreal should call for a day of prayer and ask Almighty God for his assistance in resolving once and or all the issue of the safety of Isreal and her Citizens.
22. Kahane Was Right
Marc Wests ,   Houston, USA   (12.27.05)
and proven right each and every day
23. Another vote for Kahane, thanks Marc Wests.
Bunnie Meyer ,   Santa Monica, CA   (12.27.05)
24. Where's Michael Steiner... no snide remark for this one?
(12.27.05)
25. shelling of sites in Isreal
Jean ,   USA   (12.27.05)
I agree with a day of prayer. God said if you would humble yourselves and call upon Him, he would answer and heal your land. He helped the Jews when they called upon Him generations ago. God does not change. The Jews are His chosen people and will always be. The land of Israel through covenant belongs to the Jewish people whether other nations like it or not. Read Isaiah 9:6 in the Old Testament.
26. ATT: LINDA
DACON9 ,   LIE DETECTOR   (12.27.05)
I AM WAITING FOR YOUR RESPONSE. ISRAEL FOR JEWS BY JEWS OF JEWS WITHOUT ANY SONS OF 'GD; WITHOUT JEUS WITHOUT GHOSTS TRINITIES WITHOUT IDOLS OR STATUES AND GRAVEN IMAGES. EXACTLY AS TORAH STATES. SAY IT LINDA... ONLY THE 'GD' OF ISRAEL ABRAHAM ISAAC AND JACOB. AND ALL THINGS. NONE OTHER BESIDES THE 'ONE' YOU CANT. YOU USE YOUR FACADE AS A JEW LOVER TO DECEIVE , YOU USE YOUR DOUBLE TALK TO LIE TO JEWS. SURE YOU LOVE JEWS , YOU LOVE JEWS TO CONVERT , THATS YOUR LOVE. and if you insist.. 'Home Depot' has a sale on used statues, they were returned because they failed to perform as promised.
27. #15 Marc
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (12.27.05)
Happy Chanukah! Thank you for your encouraging words!
28. #17 Kate The terrorists would agree on MILITARY STANDPOINT
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (12.27.05)
Your comment: "it was right to leave Gaza from a military standpoint." It was right FOR THE TERRORISTS from a military standpoint! Massive arms and terrorists pass freely into the territories. The surrender from Gaza enable Arab missiles to fire on Ashkelon which was not previously within range. The terrorists have been brought closer to major Israeli population centers. The U.S. EU UN, Russia and the terrorists are eager to duplicate these successes in Judea and Samaria. Shortly after the 1967 War the American Joint Chiefs of Staff submitted their report requested by the U.S. government. Their report stated: ISRAEL CAN ONLY BE DEFENSIBLE IF IT RETAINS JUDEA, SAMARIA, GAZA AND THE GOLAN.
29. Kate
Marcel ,   Florida   (12.27.05)
The major problem with the Gaza surrender is that it has started the ball rolling in the wrong direction. The un-peace folks will demand more and Israel's leaders already in surrender mode will cave in .They always do. You atart by offering the finger ,then they want the hand ,then the arm then they want it all This is the Road Israel is on.
30. Return the favor to Palestinans
Robsta ,   Bear River, Wyoming   (12.27.05)
Enough is enough! Return the favor! It is getting to the point where the Palestinians and the Arabs are letting the world know about thier intent to create genocide upon Jews and Christians. Isreal should, for their own protection retaliate in the same manner as the Palestinians. Sure the critics would complain but there seems to be no other way. Israel needs to fight fire with fire! if the PA wasnt so close, they could use Nuclear weapons. It is getting to the point that the only solution is to kill or be killed. The Muslim culture is really showing their true colors. Look at the crusades, those filthy people are relentless. If Israel, the US AND NATO took the option of preemptive WMD strikes against the Arab nations it would set them back over 1000 years if they were able to recover. The Arabs would and will do it to us, we should beat them to the punch.
