This is a nice article about a very wonderful young man, whom my daughter met last year when he came back to visit Hebrew Academy. But you need to know that Hebrew Academy is NOT affiliated with Chabad, and never has been. It is an independant Orthodox Jewish High School. It was founded by and is still run by Rabbi Pinchas Lipner, who is pictured above with Igor.

Most younger Russian Jews in the USA couldn't care less about their Judaism or Israel. How sad.

Gershom, You have got not a clue about the Russian young Jews here in the US. We care about Israel 100 times more than the native born American Jews. A huge majority of us also have close relatives living in Israel. Please learn before commenting.
