Sam, You are distorting the truth in your reply. To start with, yes, the status of the dhimmie that Jews had in Arab countries is a very, very far cry from Arab citizens' status in Israel. A dhimmie had no basic rights, such as to own certain kind of property, could not own horses, i.e. pose any kind of competition to a Muslim.
