1. Not a bit too soon!!!
Yitzhak ,   Israel   (01.25.06)
2. Shinui has learned from Qadima
Ilan ,   Ariel   (01.25.06)
Why would Shinui, a party that prided itself on the absence of corruption, fear that the departing Shinui people would pull a dirty trick as was done by the Qadima quislings? Qadima Qorruption Qadima
3. Yet again, the Jews have outlasted an enemy of Judaism
Dani ,   Tel Aviv   (01.25.06)
When will they learn?
4. good riddance
Michael ,   Haifa   (01.25.06)
Even though there were some good aspects to his party's platform, particularly in trying to achieve a separation between state and religion, he was as foul-mouthed, obnoxious and offensive as some of the people who write here in Talkback
5. thanks for leaving!!!
avigdor ,   brooklyn NY   (01.25.06)
it's a bit too late but still "better ever then never". "baruch sheptaranu", in the name of all religious jews and most non-religious,-------- victor, ny NY
6. a true loss for zionist israel
moshe ,   zurich, switzerland   (01.25.06)
tommy was the only israely politician - to my opinion - who can be described as a "real" zionist, putting the issue of religion on the top of his agenda, his hate to every single practicing jew and to the smallest amount of tradition was the true goal of the founding fathers of the zionist movement, however, while the majority of our nation celebrates his nasty resignation the zionist movement and it's loyal members is expected to break out in tears.- - -
7. "when your enemy fals"...
shalom ,   antwerp, belgium   (01.25.06)
despite the natural instinctive response to such an event, we, as practicing jews are forbidden, not only to publicly celebrate, but even to keep the slightest amount of happiness inside our hearts. but we would be lying ourselves by saying that such a feeling doesn't exist at all, so instead of bee'ing happy for the "fall" of a great enemy let's celebrate the "kidush hashem" - the "rise" of his blessed name in the eyes of millions. lets not forget that even tommy is our brother and we should all see him soon reterning to the roots of our holly tradition together with all "klal yisrael"
8. Well said moshe
Tahl ,   Israel   (01.26.06)
It's a shame that only a minority of Jews see things clearly.
