1. Israel for peace
DR ,   Florida, USA`   (01.31.06)
This just shows how far Israel is willing to go for a chance at peace with the palestinians. Of course I don't believe that it will work, and it is a one sided effort, but at least the whole world can now see that Israel is working to achieve something good. I don't think we will ever see an arab or muslim nation force it's own people to make such big sacrafices for peace with Israel.
2. "Religious Zionism at stake"? Religious Zionism soon to RIP!

Palestinian   (01.31.06)
It is only putting them in confrontation with the Palestinians whom Land was stolen by all sorts of zionists propoganda. http://www.palestineremembered.com/ZionistFAQ.html
6. The real Struggle Is Ideological
Adina kutnicki ,   NJ   (01.31.06)
The reason why this expulsion is going through is directly related to the relative "ease" that the security forces experienced when Judenreining Gush katif & the Shomron. The deluded advice of the YESHA council is playing right into Olmert's hand. Being passive is the guaranteed green light to the next expulsion. If anyone at this site were being kicked out of their homes, how would they react?? It should be noted that each security force that participates in expelling a Jew from their home is bringing about the time when they themselves will be thrown out of their homes. This is called blowback. The fact that the residents in Amona bought these homes legally is not in dispute. What is the real issue is the ideological component of the residents - religious zionists. The leftists in control of the regime will not abide religious zionism. Therefore, despite Hamas amassing on their doorstep, they seek to destroy homes of Jewish zionists. Sick and twisted. Period.
7. all of this done for false peace of failed Geroge
Marcel ,   Florida   (01.31.06)
The corrupt gangsters of Israel see the failure of the Road Map agenda and continue down this same path. They have crossed the line to do evil and God will repay them for what they do in rewarding terrorsits whith the land of righteous Jews. Hell will be the eternal abode of these sons of Korah,Abiram and Dathan.
8. Deport the Arab land thiefs not the indigenous Jews!
Palestiniansareamyth ,   USA   (02.01.06)
Israel will destroy itself if this keeps up!
9. To the Arab phony "Palestinian"; You are the biggest fraud!
Palestiniansareamyth ,   USA   (02.01.06)
Israel was re-named Palestine by the Romans and has no Arab connection. All the land is Israel's! Arabs are the land thief occupiers! http://www.sullivan-county.com/id3/palestine.htm
10. Olmert Commited to Judenrein YeSha
Jerry ,   NYC, USA   (02.01.06)
Olmert will cleanse Judea and Samaria of Jews under the make believe that the "Palestinians" will be satiated with this and give Israel peace. It is all make believe.

12. the heck with amona
ian ,   Lima, Peru   (02.01.06)
there are far more important places religious zionism has to look after if they want to keep more land or to save what they can. Simply my brothers, all in amona go to other settlements in the near the greenline like har adar, hashmonaim , go to the big ones like maale adumin gush etzion and ariel those are the pplaces we really should care, not outposts
13. Traitors
A.Yehudi ,   Melbourne Ausyralia   (02.01.06)
Our government should be tried for treason. In a Jewish court according Torah law.
14. "pal" elect terrorist killers and olmert steals Jewish homes
Bunnie Meyer ,   Santa Monica, CA   (02.01.06)
The "palestinians" showed their love of peace by electing violent scum who state daily that their purpose is to destroy Israel and exile all Jews. There is no value in giving anything away to terrorist freaks that are intent on killing all Jews. Now is the time to give all preference to the Jews, not to the people of hate and death on the other side of the wall.
15. This Is A Battle For SECULAR Zionism- NOT Religious Zionism
Yishai Kohen ,   YeShA, Israel   (02.01.06)
Religious Zionism existed from the day that G-d told Abraham to go to the land of Israel. It survived the multiple exiles and manifests itself today in Amona and Ashkelon, Hebron and Haifa. Religious Zionism will continue no matter what because the Torah is eternal and G-d's word is eternal. It is specifically SECULAR Zionism that is facing the test today because it is NOT based on the eternal Torah. This is why secular Zionism is, for all intents and purposes, dead, as we see daily.
16. the one & only lesson...
avi ,   ofra   (02.01.06)
fear more the yassam than the qassam & let the revenge to G.od.
17. POLICE REFUSED TO DEFEND JEWS FROM ARAB ATTACKERS
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (02.01.06)
Early in January, 2006, at the soccer match between Beitar-Jerusalem and Sakhnin, Arabs threw stones at, and brutally attacked the Jews. Israeli police who were present refused to defend the Jews against the Arab attackers. Israel is Islamic paradise for Muslims who are allowed to break all laws. Israeli police believe egg throwing Jews are as bad as Muslim bombers and Israel's police have been in training to make a massive police assault upon egg throwing Jews.
18. THE RAGE OF ISRAEL'S LEFT IS RESERVED FOR JEWS ALONE
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (02.01.06)
The terrorists laugh all the way to the bank with mega U.S. and European TAX DOLLARS. It's land for war! Displaying absolute contempt for Israel's plight of being in a state of war and under continual attack; the U.S. EU and UN are ruthless in their demands that Israel does not fight back, but give continual victory to her enemies! The Jewish Biblical heartland of Judea and Samaria has been designated next on the list by the U.S. EU and UN, for ethnic Jew-cleansing and Islamic conquest! Jew-haters, Peace Now, and Israel's left, do their job of demonizing and creating hostility towards the hated religious Jews of Judea and Samaria. The Islamofascists celebrate their savage murders of Jewish children and pregnant Jewish mothers, but the rage of Israel's left is reserved for the religious, law-abiding Jews of Judea and Samaria. It's not just Islam that despises Judaism! Israeli leaders in 1967, gave control of Judaism's holiest site, the Temple Mount, to Muslims! The Jews of Judea and Samaria, are to be punished for following Judaism! 250,000 Jews ethnically cleansed; rendered jobless and homeless and their confiscated land given to Muslims! The raison d'etre of the genocidal PA society is the mass murder of Jewish innocents. Palestinian Authority society are taught murdering Jews is the highest goal in life and attains paradise: http://www.pmw.org.il/AFD.html
19. WoooHoooo!!!!
Motaz ,   Gaza City   (02.01.06)

20. What does it to for you nutters out there
A Bethlehemite ,   Palestine   (02.01.06)
to realize these zealot thieves are simply breaking the Israeli laws not to mention they have stolen Pali private propertyfor over 10 years. Amona is 10 years old. http://www.peacenow.org/briefs.asp?rid=&cid=1169
21. What on earth are they trying to prove?
Tim ,   Canada   (02.01.06)
6000 police to destroy 9 houses? Can anyone say finatical? And for what? To give them to Hamas?
22. "Persecution of Jews"
David ,   Yerushalayim   (02.01.06)
The fact that the Yesh rabbis talk in these terms reveals how totally out of touch they are with 95% of the Israeli population, and that includes most religious Jews. They are right, however, when they say it's a battle for Religious Zionism. It's a battle to see whether Religious Zionism will be led in the spirit of its founders, who tried to bring more Torah into education and social policy in Israel, and to bridge the gaps between the religious and non-religious, or whether it will continue to be hijacked by a crowd of grandstanding crazy messianists who are willing to destroy Israel itself if they don't get their way. And of course Adina Kutnicki (the great Religious Zionist) is telling them what they should do.

24. #6 - Blowback
motti   (02.01.06)
You have it wrong - blowback is what is happening at Amona now. For years the Israeli government tolerated, even encouraged, "illegal" settlement activity so civilians could "unofficially" occupy the territories in violation of international law. This all recently came to an end in the face of looming international sanctions and the prodding of Israel's major financial and military benefactor, the US. Now the settlements and the occupation they promote are a hindrance and obstacle to both peace and international sensibilities. They have to go. But, the unoffical occupation force that Israeli governments nurtured over the years are unwilling to give up their role and their plundered booty. They are the blowback - blowing right back in the face of the Israeli government that created them in the first place. The argument that they bought the land in Amona "legally" is highly suspect. There is a long history of illicit usurping of Palestinian land by Israeli settlers - some by duress and extortion, others by outright fraud, and both often with the underhanded assistance of local government officials. It's high time it stopped. Israel can hardly claim to be a light unto nations when its practical behavior resembles the worst of South Africa's apartheid years. But you Adina, seem to prefer that Israel, or at least its settler population, contine to behave as a blight unto nations instead.
25. beyond sad
tony ,   Raanana   (02.01.06)
The almost complete identification of religious Zionism with the settlement activity is a tragedy of the first order for Israel. Even the tremendous waste of time and money that should have been spent on bettering the country and its society, is trivial compared to the damage done by the pervasive policital hatred, the waste of idealism, and this single minded form of false messianism.
26. Motaz; Kick out the million Arabs illegally occupying Israel
Palestiniansareamyth ,   USA   (02.01.06)
Also in the West Bank and Gaza. Go back to Syria, Egypt, Jordan where you came from!
27. There is no question that Israeli govt declared war on Jews.
AK   (02.01.06)
28. #2 you're wrong.
AK   (02.01.06)
Religious Zionism is the only remaining Zionism, and the only hope for Israel’s survival as the Jewish state, while it is becoming painfully clear that "secular” Zionism, which originally created and built Israel, is dead. The only “original” secular ideas that I can note are those of withdrawal from the land and placing the entire blame for Israel’s predicament on the religious segment of the population. It is heartbreaking to see Israelis turning on their brethren instead on the enemies within and without. In only two generations, the secular Zionists went from reclaiming and settling the land to post-Zionism. Sorry, but Kadima, Labor and Likud are the same s^%& with not one original thought among them and no determination to survive and win. As it is, the ONLY Jews with any faith in Israel left are the much maligned Religious Zionists, whom I wholeheartedly salute.

AK   (02.01.06)
"The almost complete identification of religious Zionism with the settlement activity is a tragedy of the first order for Israel" you say? Funny, “settlement activity" was what the Zionists of the Socialist stripe did from the end of the nineteenth century until 1948, wasn't it. So, you must consider the existence of Israel as tragedy and waste.
