Your right- at a deep psychological level, the disengagement was not meant to bring peace. It was meant to ethnically cleanse the settlers. How dare they be dedicated heroic pioneers, settling the land, having more Jewish children and keeping the Mitzvot?

Hey Steiner, If you criticize "lawlessness, anarchy and fascism" on the part of the settlers, then why does it not bother you that disengagement process was forced through by one leader and his weak puppets against the results of two votes (sounds likes fascism to me). 2) Since your beloved disengagement, over 300 Kassams have been launched against Israel. That's approximately 50-60 per month, or 2-3 per day. Doesn't sound like that much less than before disengagement. And if the disengagement was not supposed to bring peace (or at least something resembling it) than what was the point?
