It’s fun to buy furniture from Ikea, their furniture prices are attractive yet their quality and life expectancy is really short!

The new middle east will finally arrive once we all have access to affordable Swedish coffee tables.

4. IKEAs in Muslim Lands - the IRONY
FYI: IKEA's founder, Ingvar Kamprad, is an active evangilist, although his method is mostly via funding, since he does not want to damage his business by putting off Muslim customers b/c of his Christian-based beliefs.... small lol.

6. Disagree with Abdullah

I disagree with you, Abdullah. My dining room table is from IKEA and is very strong - there is a large range of all sorts of goods.I love it. The typical male cant cope with IKEA. I have analysed why men hate IKEA and it is because they can't concerntrate on more than one thing at a time, they just get scared there, including my father, father in law and husband who all hate IKEA - Men dont have that eagle eye market mentality - . (Isnt it nice though to disagree about IKEA and not the Middle East :-D)

8. IKEA is rubbish
Rivka , |
Australia |

We have had IKEA in Australia for many years and I can tell you from experience the furniture is generally bad quality and doesn't last long. It is nearly always particle board with a veneer, weighs heavy but is rubbish. If you want bits and pieces for the kitchen or bathroom, yes its ok but I wouldn't invest your hard earned money in furniture from IKEA, it just won't stand the test of time.

The irony is once IKEA is in Jordan, Muslims will probably boycott it until it stops doing business in Israel.
