Democracy & Western Society has ben based on freedom of expression for a couple of centuries now. Some of the Islamic faith live amongst it. The rest now seem to want to impose their thoughts, beliefs and rules (largely not taken directly from the Qran) on countries they don't even live in. We should impose some back - like all women are free to run around without having to cover faces, arms and legs and can go get an education to become a lawyer, doctor or whatever... Is that going to work? Nup.

Do not try to convert here. We have learned enough about your religion in the past 4 years to know that "peace" and " love" do not work with Islam, but "Kill" and " Hate" is very common. I had the "pleasure" of sitting in on one of the friday prayers in Gaza, and even in UAE and could not believe my ears of how much hate is passed along during those prayers to small kids!!! That was kind of a weak explaination there Sarah...What's the point to it also? If you are killing for God then it's alright or not alright? People have been kill for non-religious purposes also... All killing is bad whether for God or for another reason, I believe. I think the fire to this conversation is that the religion of Islam seems to be a scape-goat for terroists, suicide-bombers, etc. Personally I've got my views of Islam from what I see/hear but if I did in fact have a part of Islam and it WAS a religion of "love" and "peace" then I wouldn't attack the people that are condemning that part of Islam, I would condemn those people that slander my religion by killing and burning in the NAME of my religion...if that was indeed the case. Please explain what history you have read...as other countries might not know the same history you know.

I want this to be a message to the occidental advanced countries (USA, EU, Canada) from an inhabitant of an underdeveloped occidental country (Costa Rica). The proposition of the Iranian president about Europe giving some part of it to the Jewish has a lot of sense to us, and I am sure, for you too. The problem IS that obviously they NEVER are going to do it, because no one European wants to loose their properties, lands, etc. That is, in a world with complete justice, that would be the way to go: they did it, they pay it. BUT this is not a fair world: who has the power, uses its power. Muslims are no different: they never would give their properties, lands, etc. for free or for a sentiment of justice, BUT they were forced to do that, and the Israeli country was created from the Palestinian lands. It was the brute force method, and they had no chance. We can find similar examples of this from USA in Latin America (invasions, imposed presidents, etc.). These are not fair things. That is the reason we, the non USA or EU citizens, some times feel like being under a boot. We all know that the Israeli invasion to stole the Palestinian lands and the creation of their country was an act of barbarism in the mid of the XX century. No one with his brain working can say the opposite. BUT, BUT, BUT... what can ONE do, if you are not armed enough to repel an invasion? Or are not rich and influent enough to negotiate a fair CAFTA? P.S. CAFTA is the "free" trade agreement every one knows is unfair for Central Americans but the best we can do under the circumstances of little countries against the BIG country. Greetings to all from one of the first and few unarmed countries of the word. Try to follow our example and abolish your armies. You will have a better country.
