Why were teenage girls in the middle of a confrontation which everyone knew was going to be violent? How could their parents allow them to go? Who were the other adults who encouraged them? Yes, there are criminals here - the parents, the rabbis and the teachers. No Jewish daughter should be placed in the front of police horses by the very people who are supposed to protect her. Where are the brave leaders of the settler movement when teenage girls are facing horse charges and teenage boys are hurling cinder blocks at police in riot gear swinging batons?
