The majority of Muslims do not accept those demonstrators violent way to express their disapproval. Also Muslims are the only people affected by theses demonstrations. The cartoons problem is that they are trying to connect Islam with terrorism. Despite that fact that the west offers a big support for fundamentalists dating back from early Cold War period and peaking with the war in Afghanistan. In the process, the west helped to demolish the possibility for the emergence of a secular, democratic opposition to the region's corrupt and repressive regimes. There are religions today who teach they must convert the world "by the sword," even using terror . . . Craig, Though I realize as a Xtian you believe that Jesus was your messiah... The Jews do not believe that Moshiach has come. If you study the Torah and Tanak you will find that there is no way Jesus is Moshiach. I know several Xtians who converted when they realize that the Xtians have mistranslated and often skip writings which conflict with the belief that Jesus was born from a virgin, was the 'son of g-d' {g-d forbid!}, and the trinity {where does that come from?}. These are not simple things to explain, and it is why the Jews To This Very Day will not believe that Jesus was moshiach. Also, where does the concept of the Jewish people needing a human sacrafice to absolve them of sin comes from? This comes straight from pagan religion. Im sorry if this is hard to read...
