Why do see "breaking news – Sharon’s condition worsens" on overseas news channels while Channels 1, 2 and 10 just carry on with the normal, mundane schedules? What happened to the News Channel that we were promised? We must have a news channel where our news is made available to us directly and our point of view is broadcast to the world. There are thousands of channels available today and we are limited to what the Satellite and Cable Council allows us to see. The programs we see must be the most repeated ones in the world with Hallmark and the History, Discovery and National Geographic channels being the worst and we are paying for this! How many times are we going to see E.R. from the beginning when we haven’t even see the later seasons? Yes and HOT have a monopoly and are not giving us the variety of programs we are entitled to! They are abusing their licenses with the help of the Satellite and Cable Council.
