"Naali says he can't understand why drivers simply cannot enjoy the open terrain without destroying it." I also don't understand, Mr. Naali. But, after all, since when do Israelis give a damn about the environment or causing damage to such sites? They speed through with those damned 4 x 4 's, probably thinking what cool explorers they are, and in keeping with the Israeli tradition, not obeying rules, but simply doing what they please. Is it any wonder that we have such a bad name in the rest of the world? At least there are some that actually do care, and are trying to stop this destruction of our still beautiful land. My god, if it were up to those kind of people who treat the land as if it is their own private playgound, the whole country would have trampled by now with garbage and vandalism. Those gas-guzzling land rover things are also a huge contributor to our air pollution. But again, how many people here really care? A small minority. When are the people here going to learn to respect mother earth and all that she has given us? I am doubtful that most Israelis will ever care. Those of us that do have real concern will continue to try to do our best, but sadly, the majority are apathetic.
