1. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!
Michael Steiner ,   EU   (02.13.06)
Love it! LOVE IT!! Let's list recent accomplishments of Booby the Sleazeball: 1-- Last month he told us how grateful we shouls be that he turned down a job in the Italian government; 2-- He gave the PA control of Khevron; 3-- After exactly this kind of "tough talk" he sat down and spoke with Arafat(Y"ShU) anyway though he said he never would in a million years; 4-- Helped create the situation in which a third of Israeli children depend on the types of charity you see advertized all over the online papers in order to get a single hot meal per day. Booby, sell your BS to someone else. You would do the EXACT same things that Qadimah is going to do, only you would do it after much ado and posturing (think: "the lady doth protest too much"), which would only make Israel isolated. Face it, Khamas is getting rehabilitated (largely thanks to the idiot Russkies--I still think Israel or the US should invite Chechen freedom fighters ;-) for a tea party) and before long it'll be seen as the legitimate Palestinian government by everyone, including the US. If anyone seriously believes that Booby will be able or willing to withstand what I expect to be unanimous international as well as significant internal pressure to negotiate, then you need a reality check, badly.
2. bibi is the only choice
michael ,   israel   (02.13.06)
Olmert is weak and corrupt and is no match for netanyahu's experience. Kadima is leading Israel to disaster. Vote likud or the whole country will regert it!
3. Economics
Aaron ,   Springfield   (02.13.06)
Bibi had a better record of deterring terror than any other PM. He also brought the economy up better than any other. Who is Olmert? Does he stand on anything? I know who he bends over for, but for what principles does he stand? We vote for a positive value, not the absence of policy. Judge a tree by its fruit. Does Olmert bear any? What?
4. Steiner
(02.13.06)
When Sharon went against his policy, his voters, his party and the people and went on with the withdraw from Aza you people called him "Pragmatic" and praised him for "moderating" and other crap, selective treatment again?
5. listen steiner
Yakov ,   Tel Aviv   (02.13.06)
AS much as you try to disparage Netanyahu the mans' record speaks for itself. Barely any terror attcks during his tenure, successful stint as finance minister - the man sure gets the job done. Netanyahu is at this point the most capable person to lead the country. I'm not saying I like him or everything he says but any honest assessment would conclude the same thing. Don't let your hatred and bias blind you, like it so often doesn.
6. Steiner you dont live here, you live in EU
(02.13.06)
and you never serve in army so your opinion is irrelevant
7. Bibi brought in the CIA under his term
Gabrielle Goldwater ,   Geneva Switzerland   (02.13.06)
to teach the Palis effectfully how to fight and shoot and murder which THEY used wonderfully against Israelis It was the start of arming the Palis with weapons that murder, which was used esp. under the next admistrations ... since by then they had learned from the CIA how to kill Questions that were asked for Bibi Netanyahu, contender for chief of the Likud: http://goldwater.mideastreality.com/2005/aug/30_08.html
8. Bibi Built Hamas by freeing Yasin and...
(02.13.06)
ordering the hit on Mashal when the Mossad wasn't ready for it.
9. I don't know why anyone bothers with Steiner.
AB ,   The Rock   (02.13.06)
Like #4 said, he is selective with his facts thereby bending the truth and like #5 said, his emotions clearly get in the way. I don't know whether Bibi will do as he promises. It is very likely he will not. But nevertheless what Bibi is saying is true. A wall around Hamas is what is needed. And where according to Steiner is the great wisdom in (Kadima) rushing to give in to the enemy? Dragging your feet to kill yourself, as he says the Likud would, sure makes more sense. He's worried about Israel being 'isolated' internationally. What's better not to exist or to be isolated? That's why I don't bother with Steiner anymore. (His spelling is also somewhat strange. I have yet to see Kadima spelled with a Q or Hevron spelled Khevron. I know some people have said he must be German, I think he's an Arab. He's obviously picked up a few hebrew words here and there from being online for so long. But I think he's a sneaky Arab. So don't bother.)
10. To Steiner #1
Josh ,   Jerusalem   (02.13.06)
I think it's great that you know your facts. You know when Bibi made bad political moves, bad social moves, even bad jokes. FORGET THE PAST! Everyone makes mistakes. Even your golden-boy Olmert made some mistakes, like driving all secular Israelis and small businesses out of Jerusalem. But who's looking at Olmert when we can bash Bibi? Bibi gave control of Chevron to the PA you say? Olmert's Kadima gave control of Gaza to Hamas! While Bibi carefully illustrates his political and economic theories on national television and envites Olmert to a televised debate so the country can see who they're voting for, Olmert replies "I am following in Arik Sharon's steps" (and declines any chance that might let Israelis see his true personality). Let the past be. The Israeli voter has to make a decision NOW. Much has changed since Bibi's last term, and he has learned from his mistakes. He is the only person that can succeed in the balancing act of gaining the west's support, without giving in to security issues. Instead of bashing Bibi, why don't you enlighten us on why we should vote for Olmert. Until then, your comments sound just like those disgusting smear campaigns on TV.

B"H Point by point response below: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!! =>Are you laughing or crying with Olmert? Love it! LOVE IT!! Let's list recent accomplishments of Booby the Sleazeball: =>"Sleesball" is ad hominim, void of meaningful content. 1-- Last month he told us how grateful we shouls be that he turned down a job in the Italian government; =>The stalward Peres we heard commitment from was happy to be in Kadima after being rejected by the Labor polls. Kadima=Jump Ship 2-- He gave the PA control of Khevron; =>Omert smashed MK heads in Amona to make them blead through his orders! Who honestly beleives Olmert to be any more "Jew-loving" than Bibi is after that afair? 3-- After exactly this kind of "tough talk" he sat down and spoke with Arafat(Y"ShU) anyway though he said he never would in a million years; =>Olmert's family is associated with Machsom Watch. Who is better? Arafat who is dead or Machson Watch which is a living nightmare for the IDF? http://www.jewishworldreview.com/0604/mommy_bomber.php3 http://www.israpundit.com/archives/2006/02/videos_on_amona.php 4-- Helped create the situation in which a third of Israeli children depend on the types of charity you see advertized all over the online papers in order to get a single hot meal per day. =>Thousands of those were uprooted from their productive jobs by the Kadima darling Sharon and Olmert his double. When a government has an UNEMPLOYMENT program, does it deserve more trust? Bibi at least resigned. Booby, sell your BS to someone else. You would do the EXACT same things that Qadimah is going to do, only you would do it after much ado and posturing (think: "the lady doth protest too much"), which would only make Israel isolated. =>Do not vote Kadima if they are going to do the same bad things Bibi would is a better way of saying it. Somehow you twist same to "good" or even "better". =>Vote National Union! I am almost certain Hamas has no intentions to negotiate anything worth more than the piece of paper it is written on!
12. to cry or to lough:?
judy ,   jerusalem   (02.14.06)
bibi lost more than 200%from the people who suport him and his party on 1996 he got 36 mandats on 2006 he has only 15 mandats
13. BIBI SPEAKS LOUD AND CARRIES A TOOTHPICK

AND QADIMA.. WHATS WITH YOU JEWS. OHHH I SEE, ITS MICHAEL HOMAMED STINKER
15. Leadership
Francois ,   Paris   (02.14.06)
Olmert is not a real leader and he has not the required qualities to confront Iran and Hamas. Kadima as only one advantadge: they may claim that they provide a new alternative after 20 years of Avoda leadership followed by 20 years of Likud leadership. However, Kadima has no serious alternative to provide since Kadima is an aggregation of Avoda and Likud opportunists. Kadima is just a garbage bin party. Some may say that Kadima is a living proof that Israel is the Holy Land because there is miracles in this country: you don't need to collect garbage, political garbage goes by itself to the garbage bin.
16. well, i served the army in a high position
(02.14.06)
and i can tell you that there is no other choice than voting likud. they are the only ones who will DO something, instead of firing into empty spots day and night... vote likud, israel... vote likud. bibi won't make his earlier mistakes again.
17. Bibi Not Ideal, But Best of 3 Main Contenders
Jerry ,   NYC, USA   (02.14.06)
Peretz is a socialist and naive, will destroy Isreal in little time if given the opportunity. Olmert is spineless, corrupt and gets an erection watching Jewish teenagers beaten to a bloody pulp. Even worse, he is simple the errand boy for Bush/Rice, if they tell him give up E. Jerusalem and the Temple Mount (which will happen if he wins on 3/28), he will do so without any hesitation. Bibi, for all his faults, understands the threats Israel faces, is able to communicate extremely well in the language the world understands (English), is telegenic, and argues Israel's case very well. He should be able to rally support among the conservative base and pro-Israel liberal base in the US to resist pressure to create a terror state on the evaucated Lands. Bibi is the best choice of the 3.

amen to your feedback, your right on the mark
19. bibi is the only and best one for job
fady ,   cairo egypt   (02.14.06)
no one can dare to deny that the best man for pm is bibi all his forecasts about the disengagment from gaza are right if we look to the past of bibi we will say he is bad so vote peretz or olmert to destruct israel more and more and i myself dont believe that the past of bibi is bad his economic policy is so better he is not easy in dealing with the palestinian terror when he found that wye accord will lead to increase of violence he stopped the accord when he failed to assassinat mashaal he had to free terrorist yassin in order to save the mossad agents which are the soliders of israel and freeing yassin is not the cause of strength of hamas but we should find the most cause of that it is kadima and olmert policies not olmert is only wrong but sharon also he has lied he has promised to achieve peace by his plan but no peace in the beginning he has promised the jews to stop the intifade in 100 days he failed and made israel as a pool of blood but netanyahu when he came to power he has threaten that if a bombing took place he would destroy the palestinian authority so no bombing has taken place except after more than 1 year so bibi is right no way except to him only
20. Abdul Steiner has an ODD way of spelling
Gabrielle Goldwater ,   Geneva Switzerland   (02.14.06)
very odd indeed. it Hamas ..... not Khamas it is Hevron ..... Khevron Etc..... no idea where Abdul learned his spelling
21. 20, Herbon and Hamas
(02.14.06)
are both spelt with a chet so Steiner is right in transcribing them as ch or kh. Learn some Hebrew before trying to be a smartass 'coz you ain't smart. By the way, anything to say about the article and subject at hand? Didn't think so.

I don't understand it. The Islimac protesters want to fight and kill to defend Muhamald. Isn't he strong enough to defend himself. I know that my Lord can defend himself. Thanks David Dallmann "daldaveman@adelphia.net"
