Wow, my head is spinning from whatever that was that came out of Marzouk's mouth. When he says that the Palestinians went down the road of negotiations to no avail, does he mean when Arafat rejected a Palestinian state in 1994, or 2000? Of course negotiations will fail if you're offered 99% of what you want, and you reject it. That's not negotiating, that's just shouting "gimme!" Oh, and generally when negotiating with a partner in politics, it's not custom in the normal world to terrorize their country. I find it hysterical that Marzouk says one second that he believes in the rule of Sharia, then a few sentences later he wants the international community to accept "Palestinian democracy." At least he should space it out a little in his statement so it won't be that obvious. Sharia is ISLAMIC LAW, very far from democracy. It includes religious law, a dietary code, a law of taxation of the "unbelievers", repressive laws for women, and even criminal law (like removing a hand for theft). Where are the freedoms and liberties of democracy Marzouk, hah? Hamas and peace is an oxymoron! They've been spreading vicious lies about a fictitious cause for over thirty years, driven not by the yearning for land or statehood, but by a sheer hate that was ignited years ago.

They state in their OFFICIAL HAMAS CHARTER that "Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it." Their goal is not Gaza, the West Bank, or anything else that they SAY to the press. They want 100% of the land, Jew-free.
