Ehud Olmert is not only a moron, but an inept public official. Under his tenure as Mayor of Jerusalem the city turned into one dirty, grimy dump. The people of Israel would be well advised not to vote for Olmet's Kadimah party. Olmet lacks true leadership qualities. He doesn't have the strength or wisdom to lead Israel at this very challenging time in its history. I don't wish to denigrate the man, however, I believe that he would make a very poor Prime Minister. Any of the other party leaders on either the right or left are better qualified to lead the country. Also his party, Kadimah, is made up of opportunists who defected from their parties for personal gain. That is to say, most, if not all, Kadimah members are more interested in themselves then in the serving their country.

Yet, US Jews are simply back seat drivers. THEIR sons and daughters are not in the IDF. They do not pay Israeli taxes, yet applaud withholding taxes to the PA, withheld from the PA laborers, many of whom work in Israel at cheap rates. Talk about duplicity. The disengagement was not well thought out beforehand, and became a political/religous issue. Israel must learn from the experience, or repeat it. I ask, who is better than Olmert, Beilin, Peres, Peretz? Who? Olmert has many challanges, which, frankly are impossible to all resolve. So far, no one seems more equipped.
