"All of the reasons why" involve some form of self gratification. A healthy relationship is about pleasuring the other person, and you seem to be doing such a good job at "getting your mack on", (American slang for being a selfish, self-centered, dishonest a** hole), then get yourself a blow-up doll, some mechanical devices, and/or a mirror and stop confusing sexual idolatry for real love that protects, esteems, nurtures, and values committment.

My only advice... Don't do it!! Yes, I did enjoy the first couple of years in an "affair" as a big relief from the real issues I was dealing with in my marriage. But, I slowly became corrupted, depressed, defiled, suicidal, etc. due to the shame and guilt. This big sin led to so many other sins. God has a big problem with being snubbed as he should. He allowed legions of demons to enter my life in all forms. I have since repented and have been licking my wounds for a year now. I lost my soul, mind, millions of dollars, all my friends, respect, you name it - I was a walking corpse. I have since found Jesus again and am slowly but surely rebuilding my relationship with God. Repent or face the fires of hell here on earth and in the afterlife - Jesus will not allow adulterers in heaven. It is not too late. He will prune your branch so you may bear good fruit. Otherwise, into the fire with you! Think about it - it's not worth it!!!
