2. Hey! Omar! Leave those DIBS alone. All in all ur just anotha
(03.09.06)
brick-throwing terrorist
3. As if Israel needs the horrid noise he calls music. DUH!
Bunnie Meyer ,   Santa Monica, CA   (03.09.06)
4. No culture
Arie   (03.09.06)
It's not that they are afraid of what may be perceived of Waters' visit, they just can't stand anything that has to do with civilization and culture. They deem it "unmuHAMedan"
5. At least he doesn't agree with your Racist Government.
Hazem   (03.09.06)
Now that I've heard what he has to say, I'm impressed. He doesn't agree with your apartheid policies or your racist wall (not fence, WALL). And it's great to hear him appreciate the Israelis that refuse to work for the racist Israel Demolition Forces. He is a good man, let him perform and make money, none of it will go to the government he doesn't support. The show should go on!
6. Waters' principled position.....
Andy   (03.09.06)
is greatly appreciated by his Jewish fans and friends of Israel, which is more committed to peace with the Palestinians then all of the Arab governments combined. Whether you agree or disagree with the security fence, it is only a wall that can be moved if peace is negotiated.
7. Why does anyone care....
Mike ,   Holon   (03.09.06)
what Roger Waters position is on anything?? He's a talented musician, of course, but why does his opinion on anything matter to anyone more than anyone elses opinion??? My neighbors opinion means more to me than Roger Waters does...hell the man who sells me the newspaper everyday, opinion means more to me than this man.
8.  you can cancel, who cares?
me ,   here   (03.09.06)
roger waters , is a gifted musician, no doubt about it. but like many famous and talented people he misuses his platform to advocate his own world policies ,as he sees them. that's his right , but it 's also his duty to do the due deligience and then decide. his pro"palestinan" stances are very much one -sided and wrong. visit or not , his music is legendary!his opinions of us and them ,are not!
9. #5
Jane   (03.09.06)
Hazem, shut up. He didn't say racist. He didn't say apartheid. He said we're human. Besides, who in hell needs your permission to do anything?
10. boycott calls are not about policies, but rather legitimacy
howard ,   pacific coast, usa   (03.10.06)
In a free society, it is ridiculous to boycott private businesses and institutions because of the policies of other businesses or of the government. Imagine this: "I boycott Intel because the US does not support Kyoto" or "I boycott Ericsson because I don't like the Swedish government's economic policy." The calls to boycott innocent Israeli companies and institutions are about trying to delegitimize Israel, not oppose its policies.
11. Roof
jason white ,   afula,israel   (03.11.06)
If the separation wall is a deadly blow to the palestinians, then let us add on a roof and kill them again. We do not want some arab farmer cut of from his olive trees. Better Jews should be killed and not inconvience arabs. Why should they be checked at roadblocks. It is not like visiting a foreign country and going through immigration and customs. But seriously waters dry up! We have enough assholes here we do not need to bring in more.
12. So what are the Palestinians going to do if he goes?
(03.12.06)
Grab a brick in the wall, and stone his family to death?
