1. Bulldoze the prison
Jason ,   New York   (03.14.06)
Why in the world would Israel believe Abbas when he says if you leave we will still keep them locked up. Now the IDF should just bulldoze the place and get it over with because these guys aren't going to surrender.
2. Abas, nobody trusts your comments anymore...
(03.14.06)
your job is finished within this subject. The zeevi killers will be given the right justice after interrogation... and i can tell you, israel's interrogation methodes on terrorists and murderers are not gentle.

5. Jericho Prison
Julian ,   Huntington Beach, CA   (03.14.06)
I agree with both Jason - even if we were to trust the words of Abu Mazen, he has lost effective control. The IDF operation is absolutely correct. Finally bring these terrorists to justice.

8. Will Israel retreat again under pressure ?
Marcel ,   Florida   (03.14.06)
The weak and spineless leaders of Israel have retreated from their goals and red lines since they capitulated to the Oslo agenda to dismember and destroy Israel in stages. Will Olmert the wimp back down and capitulated under the pressure ?

The very same Beilin that has tried to surrender Israel to the terrorists for the past 2 years! Now he has a new appoach to surrender - free the terrorists to strike again!
12. NO ISRAELI LIVES SHOULD BE LOST FOR CRIMINALS, WAIT IT OUT
DAVID ,   SANTA CRUZ, USA   (03.14.06)
no need to loose Israeli lives over the capture of these criminals, just wait it out, and let them wear down, if need be, buldoze the whole place, but DO NOT, risk Israeli lives for it
13. Make deport Beilin to Ramallah

14. ISRAEL IS FOR SURE PREPARING GROUND FOR THE HAMAS GOVERNMENT
(03.14.06)
15. Yossi Beilin
Rick S. ,   L.A.   (03.14.06)
This man is a traitor to Israel. He is so far to the left that he can not see what is in front of him. His actions have been so harmful to Israel that he should be charged with treason. Beilin would give away his own country just to appease the Arabs & the EU. What a TRAITOR.
16. I wonder what unit(s) were sent in to do this

19. ha! saadat said on al-jazeera he won't surrender!
mike ,   usa   (03.14.06)
i guess he had second thoughts when he saw that tank pointing it's gun at him.
20. Yossi Beilin
Jonathan and Mollie   (03.14.06)
While we feel that Yossi Beilin has been deemed irrelevant by the electorate, we do not necessarily agree that he means to be a traitor. He is an obsessional and delusional ideologue who refuses to let facts interfere with his beliefs. Yossi is part of the extreme left that believes that if only Israel give more to the Palestinians, all will be fine and Arab promotion of Jew-hatred is not really what it appears to be. Every violation of agreements by the PA is simply ignored or blamed on Israel. For example, Yossi believes that Abbas has not lived up to obligations under the roadmap because Israel did not strengthen him sufficiently by releasing more terrorists. We do agree that Beilin is dangerous to the security of Israel because of his refusal to show loyalty to the Israeli government (even in times of war). his lack of ethical behavior (being on the payroll of the Europeans), and his incredible lack of ability to think about facts, rather than ideology.
21. Nice stuff!!!
Jon ,   NY   (03.14.06)
Sadat is killer and Sharoon is a man of peace. I like the double standards that U are using. All the leaders of Israel deserve death sentence for their attrocities against Plaestinians.
22. To #17
Arie   (03.14.06)
The "suffering" of the Palestinians brought on by Palestinians. You voted for the new terrorist regime that controls the PA that promised to release these butchers. Now you pay the consequences. And you still whine. Would you like some cheese with your whine?
23. Yet, another proof of those who break EVERY promise
Salameh ,   Gaza, Palestine   (03.14.06)
The zionists have proven once and again their true face of not being trustworthy. They sign an agreement, and before its ink dries, they violate it, being is Oslo, being it Wye River, being it Rafah agreement with Rice, and now Jericho's. Having known the zionist cheap coward way of doing business doesn't surprise us, but it is worth noting that the british, the same thieves who stole our land and presented it to the zionists on a silver plate (may God skewer Balfour for eternity) along with the world's super power who basically conspired with their spoiled occupation state to do such a heinous crime. SHAME ON THEM AND SHAME ON ISRAEL
24. palesteine forever
ramallah ,   ramallah   (03.14.06)
Government of thugs and criminals. The allies are back with hate and arrogance, \ But the truth will prevail . God is great He will not let this unjust to continue.
25. Not the first time break covenant.
ramallah ,   ramallah   (03.14.06)
So because of their breach of their covenant, We cursed them, and made their hearts grow hard. They change the words from their (right) places and have abandoned a good part of the Message that was sent to them. And you will not cease to discover deceit in them, except a few of them. GOD IS GREAT.
26. VERY OBVIOUS COORDINATION WITH BRITISH
Arik Silverman ,   Milwaukee WI   (03.14.06)
Despite denials, there was very obvious coordination with the British. It's just too much of a coincidence that the British withdrew their personnel just before the raid. Furthermore, there's a possibility there was agreement with Abu Quisling Abbas. He triggered this by offering to break an agreement with Israel by releasing the men. Just look at Abbas: on the one hand he insists Hamas keep previous agreements with Israel (which is good), but in his hypocrisy he offers to break the agreement with Israel on these prisoners. No wonder Abu Quisling Abbas has an approval rating of less than 10% among Palestinians -- and it's bound to sink lower -- don't be surprised if he is "removed."
27. FIRST WARNING TO HAMAS
MEIR ,   US   (03.14.06)
THIS IS JUST THE START, ISRAEL WILL HAVE A FREE HAND TO SEND ALL THE HAMAS TERRORIST RUNING FOR THEIR LIVES TO IRAN.
28. No big deal, they r heroes yet 4 a wider spectrum of public.

29. to #17- sufferings of the palestinans?
me ,   here   (03.14.06)
my freind if there is one elemenrt that you could point the finger and blame for your misery , is your arab brothers. sure ,israel and the jews are an easy target for blame ,but is it really a true assesment? i think not. we're in an impossible situation ,copounded by the rest of the arab world 's refusal to recognize our basic right to even exsit here! therfore ,they continue to prepetuate your condition , despite the billions of $ sent to you. ifeel for you as a human being ,but i don't like what you're doing to us as people- suicide bombing ,lynching etc. have a good idd el....
