No one in El Salvador knows that we need to copy the IDF model because we are in peace thereafter we do not need army at all. Israel's army are killers with lack of human rights respect so Why we need to copy something very bad? We know that between Israel-El Salvador armies exist a cozy relationship including the one who kill 1000s people during the civil war in El Salvador. Please out of my country!

I personally prefer if El Salvador and other Latin American countries follow the Costa Rican model of eliminating that cancer that is the military in countries so prone to caudillismo and military juntas. But if they were to follow a military model I rather see them following Israel's, whose army is called from the people and do not represents a separate castes to support the oligarchs, like in El Salvador. As for respecting Human Rights, before giving us that regurgitated propaganda go and see FMLN's pals in Cuba and tell us how much Human Rights are respected there.

I belive that IDF are one of the most Professional Army around the wolrd and El salvador should to adopt Military doctrine israeli, close combat, urban combat, etc. that woul be great.
