1. To Olmert
Josh ,   Jerusalem   (03.28.06)
They seem to be having trouble aiming. Evacuate the West Bank already so they can have closer targets.
2. Olmert hid this from the people!!
aaron ,   israel   (03.28.06)
IF this happened in the morning why only now - at the end of the voting do they announce to the country that hamas is now firing Katyusha rockets!! WHY WAS THE MEDIA NOT ALLOWED TO PUBLICIZE THIS WHEN IT HAPPENED!! This is very sketchy!!
3. Just A Foretaste To Come
Adina kutnicki ,   US   (03.28.06)
This is what Kadima will bring - Katyushas will rain down on all the coastal cities, soon to be handed over to Hamas, no matter what the security situation. Not ONE of Israel's demented leaders are running on a platform that will win a war over the PA Arabs. Without a clear victory Israel keeps their hopes alive that someday they will prevail. IF the leadership do not change their defeatist tactics, the PA Arabs will become victorious. Afterall, it is not they who are" tired of winning, tired of fighting" as infamously stated by Olmert. Rather, it is Israel's failed leadership.
4. Thousands More Will Come
Jerry ,   NYC, USA   (03.28.06)
It's all part of the "plan" to disengage Jews from Israel. Kadima's plan.
5. Cover Up - Katushas
Sam Lottner ,   Petach Tikva Israel   (03.28.06)
Olmert witheld information that could have changed voters' minds. The election should be nullified and should be rerun since this kind of government action is what we may expect from a one man show and potential dictatorship.
6. Disgusting! Mofaz/Olmert hid this
cynical Israeli   (03.28.06)
Nearly everyone in Kadima has a criminal investigation on their backs. Now they have the hutzpa to hide this information for hours in order to hide the truth from Israeli voters. And Amir Pertz can try to explain to all his neighbors why he was for the pullout AFTER the polls close!
7. If Olmert wins, may the last person switch off the lights
Dudu ,   Kfar Sava   (03.28.06)
8. Quid pro quo
(03.28.06)
They show us Qassams and Katshuyas? Let's return Hellfires!
9. Katusha
Jacob ,   DC   (03.28.06)
Israel should step up it's response in Gaza. Fire artillary into infrastructufe this time, and explain to the world that this is a response to an escalation in State sponsered terrorism. Stop being so restrained.
10. Oh God no! Not a Katyusha!!
Mo   (03.28.06)
With all this news coverage, the Katyusha surely is more powerful and can reach further and has more accuracy than F-16 fighter jets and Apache helicoptors, right?? Oh wait, I'm off by about 100 kilometres in distance and several hundred pounds in weight. Don't even get me started on the accuracy. And you people are scared of these rockets??? What about YOUR weapons? How should the victims of YOUR weapons feel if you're making such a big deal over these rockets?! If they're so powerful and scary, surely the IDF would be using them for 'defense'.
11. Katusha's Forward ,Quad Dimah
Marcel ,   Florida   (03.28.06)
The welcome from Palestinians to the new retreat and surrender wimpy leader of Israel has arrived. Now the P.M. leads the retreat backwards ,a n appeaser who wlaks in the shadow of Neville Chamberlain and who bring the Jews intoanother holocaust be rewarding terrorism instead of defeating it.

13. It sounds like terrorists do not want...
Abdullah ,   Kuwait City   (03.28.06)
peace to prevail between the Palestinians and Israelis; and I can see how Likud losers are all over this piece of news and now the conspiracy theory mentality takes over! Better luck in the after-life dear Likud or rather liquidated losers! Shalom
14. so what is being done about it?
Howard ,   Pacific Coast, USA   (03.28.06)
15. hey coward!
jason white ,   afula,israel   (03.28.06)
omelet hid the katusha story from the public. Who knows what else he is hiding from us? How about asking for volunteers to pay the arabs back? There are plenty of us who will be willing to give the arabs a good lesson they will never forget. Just give us govt. approval and lend us what we need. There are Jews here with guts and will not hide like the kadima gang.
16. To Mo #10
Josh ,   Jerusalem   (03.28.06)
I'll try to make this as simple as possible for you... The IDF does everything in its power to MINIMIZE innocent civilian deaths. Hamas, terrorists, the PA, whatever you want to call them, do everything in their power to MAXIMIZE innocent civilian deaths. Instead of comparing weapons, try comparing morals.
17. Is That a Foxhole or a Grave You're Digging, Jew?
Dan Friedman ,   NYC, USA   (03.29.06)
Grave or foxhole, Israelis have just voted to crawl into one or the other.
18. Katyusha fired from Gaza
Benjamin Saidel ,   Greenville USA   (03.29.06)
Katyushas are stupid pills for the Israeli public. Got to wonder how long they are going to take them.
19. No consequences to Iran ??
Joseph ,   FTL, USA   (03.29.06)
IF the Katyusha was manufactured and sent by Iran will they pay a price... or Israel too chicken to take the fight to the real enemy .. the religious fanatical leadership of Iran.
20. So? Just another red line
Yossi ,   Tel-Aviv   (03.29.06)
Our country has been led by the left for so long the IDF just accept the situation. Mofaz is simply the next left wing prime Minister. Sit back and enjoy the ride. The next 'red line' to be ignored will be katushas into Jerusalem. We can't even be bothered to vote whereas most nations would have had a coup by now. Tel-Aviv was nearly wiped out in 2001 but our 'leaders' have amazingly made us forget. What starnge people we are.
21. katyusha will hit knesset after next land donation.
Bunnie Meyer ,   Santa Monica, CA   (03.29.06)

Mo   (03.29.06)
"The IDF does everything in its power to MINIMIZE innocent civilian deaths." I don't believe you. Just saying something doesn't make it true, I look at the results and actions rather than words, *your* words at that. Why don't you try looking at innocent civillian deaths on both sides, then look at who has the weapons capable of pinpointing their target (thus be able to minimize civillian or any unwanted deaths). Look at those numbers, then come and try to tell me IDF tries to minimize civillian deaths. Until those numbers change, why should I believe you?

So what is wrong with that? I can live with that. Hell even more than one!
