31. Congratulations
Tibor P. ,   Ózd, Hungary   (03.29.06)
Let me congratulate Israelis for this exercise in democracy. 'Mazeltov' to the new government, whoever is gonna form it. I parsonally would like to see a flourishing Israel living in peace with a flourishing Palestine. Then I will be able to plan my next vacation there. (a 'gentile' from Hungary)
32. Kadima's Frightening Ideology - WHO WILL PROTECT JEWS?
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (03.29.06)
Kadima Ideology - Surrender Kadima Ideology - It is unacceptable to respond to the non-stop Islamic terror war against Jews. Kadima Ideology - War should only be conducted against Jewish patriots. Amona - February 1, 2006 - a day that will never be forgotten - when Olmert/Kadima went to war against Jewish innocents. http://www.IsraelNationalNews.com/Must-Watch http://www.israelreporter.com/
33. Way to go
Sam ,   Alquds, Palestine   (03.29.06)
I guess we are even now. The racist 'speakers of the nation' here didn't get the "perfect fascio-racist government" they wanted, and we didn't get the good government we wanted in our elections, so I guess this is not gonna lead us anywhere. I hope our government falls in less than 4 years, and I am sure Linda and co. would love to see a miracle taking place, and Jabotinsky rising from the dead and forming a new government in Israel, "I guess nothing is too much for your god Linda, right?". Have fun with this government.
34. Benjie, LA,CA Foolish Racist
Ira S. Bernstein ,   Merrick, USA   (03.29.06)
The Arab parties number 3 and accumulated 10 votes. They were most likely properly placed on the list. Is this all you are able to focus on regarding the many important issues to be resolved - Where parties are placed on a list? Very, Very foolish!!!
35. #19
Jane   (03.29.06)
Oh for crying out loud. If we were a racist state, they would not even have been able to run. Quick, watch out, your agenda is showing, you moron.
36. Sam in Jerusalem, Israel
Jane   (03.29.06)
We are even? Hamas is not a government. They are a terrorist group. Do not even dare to speak of the results of our elections with what the Palestinian elections wrought. Your ignorance is overwhelming.
37. racist country
benjy ,   manchester uk   (03.29.06)
there are three arab parties if you would care to count - and one of them is a joint arab/jewish list (hadash) as it has always been. they are listed last because they each got the fewest mandates.
38. check your figures
benjy ,   manchester uk   (03.29.06)
it would seem that Olmert got less than 15% of the elecotorate actually voting for him. not exactly an endorsement for his policies. it might work in democratic terms but the figures don't really add up!!!
39. benjy,UK: Someone grabbed you by the short + curlies as it

Sam, what do you "Palestinians" have against racism? For you, it's a GOOD thing...
41. Benjy is correct
Caro ,   USA   (03.29.06)
28 seats out a possible 120 is23.3% of the vote. The amount of voters who cared enough to even vote for Kadima only represent part of the 63% who voted.23.3% of 63% only gives Kadima a showing of 14.6% of all eligible voters who wanted kadima.That.... is not a mandate for anything.
42. Uzi, now you know. I'm too lazy to type it all.
AK ,   NY, NY, USA   (03.29.06)
As to being worse off, who knows? New York is not an easy town to live in. Definitely little time for any recreation like in Israel and we do have our own security concerns after 911. I simply cannot understand how could you vote for a man who says that he is tired of wining? What’s more, he was not even considered a half decent mayor of Jerusalem. You have created a beautiful country, I have seen it and admired what you have achieved in such a short time despite all the wars and having to absorb one waive after another of refugees, and all that without any help from the UN or any other world organization. Yet, now I'm flabbergasted -- At the time of war you elect a man who is defeatist to lead your country and then to top it all, you give your precious votes a Pensioners Party, which together Shas, another big winner, will be perfectly willing to trade their support for money – you deliver the pork, so to speak, and they will join any coalition, regardless of any other concern. This may be perfectly fine at the time of peace but not when you are at war for your existence. I do sincerely wish you and Israel the best of luck.
