It sounds as "pizdetz" in Russian
3. Brilliant
David ,   Jerusalem   (03.29.06)
Take a man who runs his own people the wrong way and send him to hob-nob with the goyim. Our public relations are abyssmal to start with. It would take a miracle to just get them to incompentent. Peretz as FM? That's worse than Peretz as PM!
4. foreign minister?
jason white ,   afula,israel   (03.29.06)
He can not speak english. He has no experience. Why not?
5. Jason, I'm Sold
David ,   Jerusalem   (03.29.06)
I retract what I said before. No english? Then all he can do is smile, bob his head a lot, and shake hands. It will be a stark improvement!
6. Peretz
Bill Pearlman ,   Chicago,USA   (03.29.06)
Great, a socialist foreign minister with a moustache who evidently doesn't speak English. There going to love him in Paris. Washington is another matter.
7. angelit shar ha chutz
peter ,   amsterdam, NL   (03.29.06)
Peretz is fine with me as FM, I take it he speaks Ivrit/Aravit but no Angelit. Bibi's Angelit is great for CNN interviews, but what's the point? All former FM & PM's spoke English with a strong accent and poor grammar and were understood nonetheless + what are translators for if everybody speaks native English? Many European PM's/FM's don't speak English, it's not the point. Amir Peretz is new to this game, give him a go if he wants the portfolio(I think he'd rather have something more economic/educational)and see what happens. It won't hurt Israel's PR one bit because that's already rockbottom-Sylvan Shalom wasn't much good either.
8. Most Morccn Jews speak french
Susan ,   Philadelphia, USA   (03.29.06)
Most Moraccan Jews speak French fluently. That's the language David Levy used.
9. Peretz’s linguistic shortcomings are not an issue,
AK ,   NY   (03.30.06)
but his total lack of foreign policy experience is a huge handicap. he would have to deal with very experienced and devious, as well as powerful characters. He better be up to it, or Israel will pay dearly.
