1. what an idiotic claim

the man who led the party for years hates it? maybe he hates the people leading it? or their way? but do not acuse him of hating the party he once lead, and by far he is the upmost reconized person with it.

now that a young bunch of oldsters have made it to the knesset perhaps their park benches can be occupied by Peres, Lapid, Beilin and netanyahu.... or perhaps we can resurect a maabara for them....kal hakavod to the Israeli electorate.
5. spare us

6. Peretz & Olmert, climb down the high tree!
Caroline ,   Israel   (04.01.06)
The results of the elections being as they are, nobody can claim a clear victory. At least for Kadima with its high expectations and plans for future actions built on these expectations, the victory is very short and requires now a very skillful maneuvering to limit the damage. For Avoda on the contrary, such an outcome gives hope for future and therefore Amir Peretz sticks to his stubborn declarations about who he will not be sitting with at the same government. Amir Peretz is known for his stubborness and tireless capacity of bargaining. Besides, both Kadima and Avoda make series of divertive declarations to cut each other's price. Come on, gentlemen, start talking constructively without wasting our time and patience! Look first who is a RELIABLE partner who will not let you down if you don't pay him off to his satisfaction the day before the vote and who will stick to his word until the end. Make it for once not for your own sake, but for ours!
7. Peres is right on the money
saus ,   Canada   (04.01.06)
Labor is trying to make an extortion bloc, to cover up their failed revolution in which they didn't garner even a single addtional vote.. it's quite sad to watch from outside, pitiful really. I say go ahead labor, try your silly hand at controlling the govt like grabbing children because your spinmeisters delude you into believing it, fall flat on your face. Olmert, send them packing! Ben Eliezer and these whining hyenas, deserve it, have they no shame? You can smell the panic just oozing out of Labor..
8. Peres is pissed off at how Peretz won the primary
Israel Green ,   Tel Aviv   (04.01.06)
The information is not so secret. Peretz won the primary by raising the bloody shirt of the murder of Yitzhak Rabin. Do an internet search Peres, Rabin murder, bloody shirt. But that is the reason.
9. Isn't that the April 1st joke?

I find it's a chutzpah for Shimon Peres to talk about 'extorsion' from his old party. The poor, unemployed, underpayed people in Israel(25% of the pop.)want a better life, a share in the country's prosperity. The old Askenazy elite exemplified by Shimon Peres apparently only cares about their own comfortable lifestyle. The man even at age 83 is devoured by unfulfilled ambition, his pipe dreams and sanctimonious speeches are thinly veiled camouflage for his burning desire for yet another ministry to botch up.
11. peres
jason white ,   afula,israel   (04.01.06)
he just hates everyone that does not follow his screwed up ideas. peres go retire and give us a chance. The middle age people in this country will never get a chance to decide the fate of the country. The old ones should step aside and give others a chance.
