Nothing here seems to be done for safety, either for Jews or Arabs. The roads are badly designed, poorly marked, with totally inadequate rain drainage. Arabs shouldn't take bad town and road planning personally, it is the same for everyone. But, perhaps if we didn't have to spend so much on security and defence there might be money available to bring the whole country up to a decent standard of safety....
