Do us a favour, drop the Cohen bit and you will be less of an embarassment to your people. Whatever your problem is, it has completely distorted the historical facts. Jews have a legitimate claim to the land of Israel. Notwithstanding that, Jews have been prepared to share this land with the so called "Palestinians". All this becomes irrelevant if you get to know what Islam preaches. I recommend you start by reading Oriana Fallaci's latest book "The Force of Reason". You may then begin to understand.

Tzaha"l's erstwhile presence in Aza never stopped the rockets. On the other hand, the IDF is not in Egypt or Jordan or even Syria and there are no rockets coming from there. What gives? You know, YOU are the one who sounds like a real confetti expert around here. And I have absolutely no probem with the Army making incursions. Personally, I wouldnt bother though: for every rocket they fire, I'd fire back seven.

I wasn't comparing the people's but the principles. Even if the Kenyans had been as barbaric or bestial as the Palestinian terrorists, it would still not be an argument to deny them the right to self-determination. A group of people has this right regardless of what type of state they wish to form.

By the way, I serve in the army as an ''anglo'' and i know the territories, the reality and not your fantasies. To soud tough in such a text is so easy... Go to Jenin, to hebron and you'll see that pretending to keep these places is to be out of one's mind. THE PALESTINIANS EXIST AND THEY WANT A STATE. period.

Talk about hitting the nail on the head!! The Palestinians had their chance, in fact, several chances, since 1948!!! Since Hamas admits they do not recogize the Israeli "occupation" it is obvious they will never be satisfied until there is no Israel. Preposterous!! Good show, Dr.!!!!

Bill, I think the Province of Quebec should have their independence. It is ignorant, hypocritical people like you that helps us all sink a little lower into the slime!!

Never assume, Paul. Actually, I have no fantasies. I am an anglo married into a huge, multi-generational Israeli family. I know full well that the Palestinians exist and want a state (it's a sign of immaturity to yell in capital letters, Paul). They will get a state, notwithstanding the fact that they do not deserve another state, nor does the world as a whole need another terrorist state. What they do with the state, once it concerns me only insofar as it impacts me and mine.

If the Brits and French, when drawing the borders of Palestine went up to TYre , wouldn't those Arabians in Tyre be palestinians? If the borber ended below Acre wouldn't those Arabians be Lebanese? Of course- the term Palestinian for those arabs is fictiscious and belongs only with those for who it really was meant for -the Jews

"(a) Palestinian Unwillingness: This is reflected in the fact that the Palestinians have rejected every single viable proposal which would have afforded them a state - from the 1947 partition plan to the 2000 Barak proposals." Barak proposals were a viable solution, not sure rather quite the opposite. Barak proposed the creation of a four cantons "state". This solution was not really different from the "convergence" plan of Olmert.... No arab leader will never accept something like that You want peace, pay the price for it !!

Please listen to yourself. You're reaching really hard. Terrorists HAVE NO RIGHTS to anything, especially self-determination, when they themselves deny others these same rights by murdering them. Yes, there are good Palestinians, even though every day I loose a little more hope in them. But Israel's government must act towards them in the same manner that their government acts towards Israel. That's politics. Not once has the PA put forth any effort to curb torrorism, therefore, they do not deserve anything!

Dr Sherman's incisive analysis fails to mention that Hammas is openly comitted to global jihadist organizations who wish to see the eradication of western liberal and democratic values.

Since the Palestinian Arabs already have Jordan as their state, why not transfer the remainder of Arab population from Israel to Jordan, UNRWA and all. San Marino can thrive in Italy, but Israel the size of San Marino has no chance of survival in the Arab neighborhood. And of cause a bi-national state is nonsense since there is not one successful and stable bi-national state anywhere in the world where Muslims are one part of the equation.
46. There would be no Palestinian state for a very simple reason
(04.04.06)
Palestinians do not want a state, that would completly destroy their entier point of existence - blaming Israel for their conditions thus justifying continued massacre of Jews, the Palestinians have rejected any chance of them reciving a state, what makes you think that maybe they are doing this on purpus, then we'll have to look for other solutions, anexxation of parts of the west bank, connected by a territorial sequence, to Jordan, and anexxation of the Gaza strip by Egypt. For the time being, there is no Palestinian leader who wishes to create a sovergine state, there has never been, and until then a solution must be found.
47. # 42 "You want peace, pay the price for it !! "
Martin Sherman ,   Israel   (04.04.06)
The Barak offer involved - even by its detractors' admission - 100% of Gaza plus 92% of the "West Bank" plus an unprecedented proposal to "compensate" Palestinians with land presently under undisputed Israeli sovereignty. How does this offer of almost ALL the disputed land translate into miserly suggestion of "cantons totally unacceptable to the Arabs"??? Perhaps what was REALLY unacceptable was Barak's demand for "end of conflict". The proposal also offered territorial continuity except for a thin corridor traversed by a tunnel (or a series thereof). One wonders why this is more detrimental to the integrity of Palestinian sovereignty than the demand for a (much more significant) land corridor connecting Gaza and the "West Bank" would be to the integrity of Israeli sovereignty. As for your statement "You want peace, pay the price for it !!", this should perhaps be directed at …the Arabs – or don’t they want peace. And if they allegedly do want peace ,what price should be demanded from them??. Or in your eyes is the mere fact that they desist from the pursuit of active of destruction of a fellow UN member (the Zionist entity) a sufficiently significant price?

Sorry, they never will acheive, they are so full of hate! G-d cannot bless nor will He, unless they have a change of heart, can't see that at this time. They are to busy blowing everyone up ,just so they can have their seventy women etc. Sic.

After Oslo accord, plus permanent brainwash ("what a wonderful peace will come")..., most Israelis have lost their owns senses (or free mind) , and still belive in the old false unbearable prppaganda. How painful !!!
50. Isreali/Palistinian conflict
choclosteve ,   orego tree farm, usa   (04.25.06)
Deciding which side is the most civilized or rational will not bring peace. There is plenty of blame to go around. As a parent, and now a grandparent, I found out that the best policy is to see that the other is able to act on his/her own decisions and thus be unable to assign respnsibility for the results on others. Futhermore, such a construct invests the decisionmaker with an interest realizing succesful results. As I have observed, and I assume you have also, the Palistinions have been masters at blaming others for their plight. I would suggest that they be given the opportunity to run their own show ( a Palistinion state free of interference) in which it was structured in such a way that the results would be clearly attrituble to them. It would surely be in Isreal's interest to see such an indever be a success. Assesing blame does nothing but increase the level of ill will and intensifies the problems, although sincere self critisism can be helpful, for it is easier to change oneself than the other, and is much more mentaly healthy.
