DR ,   Florida, USA   (04.07.06)
Are these facilities in civilian areas...ie. neighborhoods, streets etc? If not, why are there children there?
2. MURDER
Nick ,   Los Angeles, USA   (04.07.06)
Israel’s military is just like the Palestinian bombers murdering people....... no difference…… It's sad that my tax dollars are going to country that uses American Military Equipment to MURDER people.

4. Arabs traveling and using their children again
Gabrielle Goldwater ,   Geneva Switzerland   (04.07.06)
Constantly Arabs use their children traveling and or hiding behind - so they can force the propaganda machine against the IAF or as well IDF They make again martyrs out of their children by using them in terrorism. Consistent in all the charges brought against Israel ....(which again will show by the Hater groups that come here) .... is the insistence that the Jewish state's army (IDF - IAF) is committing disproportionate retaliation against the Palestinian Arabs under International Law. BUT ..... face facts.... But while Israel's detractors repeatedly invoked the Fourth Geneva Convention, which is not legally applicable to the PA/PLO, Only applicable to cover any Sovereign State alone ......... Nevertheless ....... bring it on .... they appeared to skip over Article 28 of that document. [.....False assumptions on the 4th Geneva Convention regards to the MIDDLE EAST. http://goldwater.mideastreality.com/2004/aug/03_13.html ......] Nevertheless: Article 28 states that "protected persons may not be used to render certain points or areas immune from military operations," nullifying the Argument that the IDF violates Intl. Law.

In light of the fact that not only doesnt the Pa goverment arrest the plotters of missile barrages, the officially elected PA government stated in no uncertain terms that they will not make a move to arrest anyone involved in violence towards Israel as its all a legitimate response to occupation. So if Israel isnt getting any help on the other side, they should what...do nothing? The shame is a) the PA doesnt even fulfill the mimimun under Oslo and b) the bomb/rocket makers live and fire from populated areas. You are worried about 'Palestinians' dying because Israel chooses to punish those who attack it because there is no option to arrest them and the PA sure as heck wont do it? I am sorry people die, but come on....take some responsibility. The PA is doing LESS than nothing and theitr policies encourage attacks against Israel. There are no PA consequences...only Israeli ones. Let me know when you've negotiated the extradition treaty that will allow srael (or even the PA) to put these guys on trial. Until then, Israel will defend itself and the 'Palestinians' will pay the price for the dead-end their elected government has led them to.
6. To#2 MURDER-NOT
Michael ,   New York, USA   (04.07.06)
Fascinating that you call this Murder. This is a military force trying to protect the citizens of its country from murder by "terrorists". If someone says they will come to your house and kill you, would it be murder if you killed them first in self defense, or is it ok for them to kill you because killing them might be perceived as murder?
7. #2 Murder
Russell ,   Miami   (04.07.06)
What is sad is not that my American tax dollars go to support Israeli defense operations but that Palestinians have you so bamboozled that you mistake the killing of terrorists with murder. If the terrorist did not want to put his family in harms way, he had 3 choices - 1) leave them home when he goes to terrorist training facilities, 2) send them to Paris to live high on the hog like Arafat's wife or 3) cease being a terrorist.
8. #2 Not Murder, But an anti-terror tactic!
Dwight ,   Los Angeles   (04.07.06)
#2 I have no agenda here, How do you prevent terror attacks? By pre-emptive actions - WAR 101. As for your american tax dollar? Israel does not need it. it's a $100 Billion economy does not require big help from us, also their military is funded within and one of the best military forces in the world, they do not need our help to fight terror, but we need their help in how to fight terror. So #2 as an American I do not share your views, nor do majority of Americans, outside the arabs and neo-cons like you.
9. Filthy Murderering Sub-Humans
Immanuel Cant   (04.07.06)
The IAF demonstrating, once again, why it is the most "moral" armed force in the world. Way to go, boys. Sleep well, tonight!
10. MURDER?
BRANT ,   USA   (04.07.06)
None of this would be going on if the Kassam rockets stopped being fired. While they're not very accurate rockets those firing them ARE trying to kill and are aiming ONLY at civilian areas. So, while these rockets keep coming, so, it seems, will increasingly severe retaliatory strikes. With that, will come increasingly strong anti-Israel invective. It's awful that babies die, even if their parents are so cavalier as to have them present at a militia training facility. Perhaps some anger and some advice should be sent in the other direction
11. 2 Nick: you spew your automatic crap again
Gabrielle Goldwater ,   Geneva Switzerland   (04.07.06)
you don't even know what it is like to fight terrorism - what it means to fit and prevent terror attacks You sit like a green horn on your sofa and just hate Jews and Israel - no matter what the issue Get educated and grow up
12. Nick invite a 747 load of terrorists to your house
Gabrielle Goldwater ,   Geneva Switzerland   (04.07.06)
we will arrange the flight - you lookafter them - Happy peace with Hamas to You Nick
13. MURDER
Les ,   NYC   (04.07.06)
What "Nick" fails to understand is that eliminating terrorists PREVENTS muders. That's why U.S. policy is to hunt down and kill as many terrorists as possible. I wouldn't take his rantings too seriously. He's likely a dyed-in-the-wool Jew-hater. Oftne these cowards are impotent as well, so they vent their anger in different ways. Sad, but we can't cure psycopathology here. I'd suggest simply ignoring "Nick".
14. Nick read posting 4 - the Nick-Law has not yet been invented
Gabrielle Goldwater ,   Geneva Switzerland   (04.07.06)
15. Nick #2
Erik   (04.07.06)
That you can equate Palestinian bombers who specifically target innocents and an IAF strike on a terrorist training camp speaks volumes about what a low-life you are. You should be more concerned about how all the U.S. tax money sent to the PA over the past decade went to support Suha Arafat's lavish life in Paris.
16. Gaza: 6 killed in IAF attack
David   (04.07.06)
give them some AH 64, they'll do the same kind of "chirurgical strike".
17. Hey Mo
Arie   (04.07.06)
I wonder if they had some cheese with the whine of the missile?
18. Typical of the Arabs
Arie   (04.07.06)
Using their kids as human shields to protect their terrorists. Only question now is with a broke PA treasury (except of course the mega-billions stashed in Switzerland and France) where will the palestinians get the $25000 per martyr to pay the families? And do the parents of the kids get extra for contributing their kids as human shields?
19. 18 Arie. The Saudis will make another Telethon
Gabrielle Goldwater ,   Geneva Switzerland   (04.08.06)
The Saudi Arabian government paid more than $5,000 each to families of suicide bombers and other Palestinians killed in the terror campaign against Israel, according to documents. The documents, discovered by Israeli intelligence officers, contain a list of 102 deceased Palestinians whose families have each been paid 20,000 Saudi riyals — the equivalent of $5,340 — by the Saudi Interior Ministry. But here comes the topping to the icecream cone: FOXNews.com - Saudi Telethon Raises Over $100 Million for Palestinians - http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,50260,00.html The names on the list were of suicide bombers and Palestinian commanders who had been killed in attacks against Israeli targets. It included the names of some of the highest-profile bombers who have been killed in recent attacks, among them children and women.
20. To #18
Roni   (04.07.06)
Arie, don't worry about the "palestinians" - crazy mullahs from Iran will gladly fork out the money for their "martyrdom". Great job IDF! Eliminate ALL terrorists!
21. War is HELL
Marty ,   USA   (04.08.06)
Since the PA harbors and supplies terrorist then all their terrority is subject to attacks. If they really care about their own people, the VERY SIMPLE SOLUTION IS TO STOP! See, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figured this very basic principle out. Yes it is sad when "civilians" are killed by these attacks but if they really care about their own families, then DON'T put them in the car or building with you if you are a terrorist.
22. Good one, Arie!
Mo   (04.08.06)
"Hey Mo ... I wonder if they had some cheese with the whine of the missile?" The 'whine of the missile'?? Missiles don't have whines, nice try though! I was expecting a cheerful reply from you, after all, a 6 year-old girl was just murdered. And nothing makes you happier.
23. The Tragic Irony
Ann   (04.08.06)
I find it rather ironic that the same exact people who criticize and cruelly condemned the murdered pregnant Jewish mom from Gaza for supposedly putting her young girls in danger won't say a word of criticism about this terrorist who deliberately put his own child in danger whilst planning terror acts against Israeli civilians. There is absolutley no excuse for him putting his child in such danger, the IDF sent out leaflets warning Gaza residents to stay away from Kassam launching sites and other areas of terrorism. Even if this terrorist who fired Kassams into Israel hoped to kill Israeli civilians including kids couldn't he have shown a little mercy for his own child for God's sakes?
24. Immanuel
Ann   (04.08.06)
Before you and other's so quicly attack and condemn the IDF soldiers. What do you have to say about the Palestinian terrorists who shot at that car with the pregnant Jewish mom and her daughters then ran up to the car and looked the 2 year old baby in the eye and still shot her in the head twice? Is he a filthy subhuman murdering beast as well? What about the terrorist who broke into that house in Hebron a few years back and shot the 4 year old cowering under her cradle is he a filthy subhuman murdering beast? Do you think they if their still alive that they should sleep well at night ? Obviously it doesn't bother the Arabs when they deliberately and cruelly murder Jewish children because the PA media and society calls these terrorists and murderers of Jewish children heroic martyrs and shaheeds. In contrast, most Israelis will probably feel nothing but shame, and sorrow over the death of this child even though in all likelyhood he probably would have grown up to be a terrorist just like his father.
25. Haniyeh is next!

26. 2 YOUNG Children are militants ha?
Hammoudeh ,   Jenon, Palestine   (04.08.06)
Shame on you
27. #9 totally agree
Ron ,   LA   (04.08.06)
IAF did a great job and they deserve a good night sleep. I think they celebrate now with good bottle of chmpain. But I hope they will wake up early to continue their blessed job. Congratulations, guys!
28. Murder
Jeremiah   (04.08.06)
No. 2, don't you know it can't be murder because, according to most on here, Palestinian lives have no value. It is only murder when Jews are killed.
29. Do the terrorists auto insurance cover missile strikes?
Seth ,   Washington, DC   (04.08.06)
30. To #2 Nick you are next on their terror list
Mike ,   Holon   (04.08.06)
you live in L.A. in America..these same people you defend verbally will kill you, your family, your friends, as quick as look at you. You are an infidel American to them..yet you defend the people who would kill your children. If you weren't so misguided you would be funny. you are a pathetic excuse. Go live in Gaza and join your friends(?). leave your comfortable California home and come support your friends(?). big talker!
