i understand what it must be like but their is a solution boming is the only way we can stop the terror but you can stop it if you want im not saying your all terrorists but if you want a decent life you will have to stop your children being turned into terroists educate them to look for solutions not revenge how do you expect a child to have a free mind if in school their taute to hate and swear to die for revenge they are easly manipulated because thay are not allowed to think for themselves what a shame and waste

This is only my second post at the ynet site, but the attitudes presented by many are alarming. You seem thoroughly unconcerned over the death and destruction being inflicted on the innocent. There is a documented quote by an Israeli leader who said something to the effect that a thousand Palestinian lives are not worth as much as the tip of one Jewish fingernail. That sort of rhetoric sounds much like the leadership of from an era that you claim you will never forget. Or have you forgotten?

I find the comments of most of the people here very disturbing. Comments like "kill them all", "they'll get what they deserve" have a spooky resonance, especially as I stare out across Postdamer Platz at the Brandenburg Gate and the Holocaust momument. I am sure that the Israeli population will agree that innocent people )Jews or Arabs) should never be attacked, caused to suffer or killed through sectarian violence, suicide bombings, ethnic cleansing etc. One of the comments refers to the Muslim's strange God that they pray to. I am sure that the God of the Jews would not condone acts of violence against innocent people or calls for them all to be eradicated (again, the resonances here of a never to be forgotten period haunt me) Don't get me wrong, suicide bombings and rocket fire are a serious and real threat and need to be dealt with - there is no question about that at all. But following Mr bush's example of going in and nuking em - does that seem to be working? The peace process will only work if there are people committed to it - and it sounds scarily like there are a number of people here who think that achieving peace is to get rid of a whole group of people - again, sound familiar??? The war in Iraq, the war on Palestinians, the war in Afghanistan, the threat of war in Iran - I know that that are serious issues that need to be addressed in all of these - but what will happen to the inncoents caught in the crossfire? Will they all have to leave their homes looking for safety and maybe claim an area in the middle east where they can be free and safe and live in harmony? I don't know, like somewhere in between Egypt and Jordan for example. Think about it.
