Indonesia is the remains of Dutch colonialism. It is a group of disparate lands and societies, many of which share only a colonial past. Dominant Muslim Java oppresses and exploits other non-mukslim parts of the "country", such as Bali, the Mollucas, & Irian Java, conducting ethnic cleansing, and simply pushing aside the native population. For example, the hald of the island of New Guinea that was part of the British Empire is now an independent country. The unfortunate population in the other half that belonged to Holland, is being destroyed, either physically, economically, or culturally.
