He knows too, that most palestinians have in their houses "last model" weapons and ammo (something somalies do not even dream in having) and that costs much money. The same money they could have used to buy grain and cattle in order to feed themselves. As PHD from an American university he is also acquainted that money does not fall from heaven. The best solution for you: dissolve you government, call in the intelligentsia (their must be some brave Palestinian academics) and let them form a broad democratic political party. Hamas has twisted values. The PhD finance minister should understand that poverty is not an excuse for violence. On the contrary, the Palestinians should be rewarded when they show that they are interested and capable of peaceful coexistence and mutual cooperation. They should not be rewarded for violence. The consequence for violence should be retaliation and isolsation from the international community.

I am always fascinated by this site. There are the Palestinians who somehow think that they are entitled to handouts from everyone. "We elected a bunch of murderous thugs in a fair and democratic election. Don't you believe in elections?" Sure we do, but if we do not like whom you elect, you have to live with the consequences. It is called being an adult. There is no obligation on the part of the US to give any of you wastrels a single dime EVER. And then there are the Zionists. According to them, right in this thread, EVERY Pal voted for Hamas, including the children. So the US is under a moral duty to let the little brats starve for their stupid voting practices. Now I certainly do not believe that the US is under any moral duty to feed them; that is their parents' responsibility, not ours. But if the US believes that it is in its national interest to avoid CNN et al showing pictures of dead and dying children and blaming the US, then it is only our business how we spend our money, not the Israelis, who bomb us and kill us and spy on us.

I have to admit that it is our fault that we don't have our own state. After all, the United Nations created two sovereign states and only the Jews took advantage. We could be approaching sixty years as a country but what did we do? We attacked Israel instead of creating our own country and failed to fight off the Syrian, Egyptian, and Jordanian occupiers of land given us by the UN. Of course it is the Jews fault for all our problems and with this attitude we will never have a place of our own.
