61. #56, Sorry

It was not my intention to be nameless, just an oversight. It is a pleasure to interact with you as opposed to some of the more moronic responses. Your reply was interesting and I shall respond in due course.
62. #32 Israel-Most GLORIOUS NATION thatEVER INHABITEDthis EARTH
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (04.17.06)
Thank you, Gadi. John Adams, second president of the United States, wrote to a friend: "I insist that the Hebrews have done more to civilize men than any other nation...they are the most glorious nation that ever inhabited this earth" israelnationalnews.com Machal: The Forgotten Heroes by Solly Ganor May 07, 2003 ...They came from all over the world to lay down their lives for the defense of Israel... After the British left on May 14, 1948... to help defend the fledgling state against the combined armies of the Arab countries... ...deep down all of us had the same feeling: "We had a need" to come and defend our ancient homeland. It was as if a call echoing through all the generations of Jews had come down to us from Mount Sinai. Most of us were not religious people, but I heard that sentiment expressed by many of the volunteers... "Those of us who fought in World War II and helped defeat the Nazis were there for an additional purpose. We were being prepared by destiny for the battle for Israel...never in the history of the Jewish people was there a worthier cause to fight for. http://www.israelnationalnews.com/print.php3?what=article&id=2256

At the slight risk of hubris I am not in need of an education as far as the state of Europe and the intentions of the Crusaders in the Middle Ages are concerned, or for that matter the conditions of the Arab societies of the same period. I presume you both know of Rehavam Zeevi and Rafael Eitan ( deceased ), of Menahem Begin and many others. These are my people and these are my ideaologies, I am all these people rolled into one. My attachment, my dedication and my loyalty to Israel are unquestionable and unconditional. I have fought 3 wars for Israel and despite my age I would do it again. I have 10 grandchildren born 5th generation in Israel, so please try to understand where my allegiances lie, and that they can never be superseded by any other loyalty. I am trying to get a message over to all the doubting Thomases, all the lefties, all the human rights advocates that our policy is wrong for us and that the policy of the Arabs is right for them. They are always on the offensive and care not what the world says, we are always on the defensive and take note of the world reactions. We must act now and in a determined fashion, it will invoke the anger of the world in the short term but in the long term it will garner their respect. Israel must give up all ideas of retreat other than through negotiations. On the night of 12th june 1967 my second son was born, I was not present as I was in the area of Rafiah. I turned to my fellow soldiers and said to them, now is the time to act, we must put together a string of bulldozers from just south of Ashkelon to Rafiah and start to move in the general direction of the sea, and keep on moving until they come to their senses. As I write these lines 5 more Jews have died in Tel Aviv at the hands of the Arabs. Until we adopt a similar policy to the jihad of the Arabs we shall not survive, never mind win. My words of 1967 are pertinent today in light of what just happened in Tel Aviv. We must change our whole attitude and our concept of right and wrong if we are to survive.

I did write you a long reply as promised. I fear it will not be published. However the essence of it was that they have the right ideas and policies and we have the wrong ones. I mean that in terms of survival and not in terms of morality.
65. Today's events
yakov shani ,   afula   (04.17.06)
About a year ago I wrote a letter to the Prime Minister, in Hebrew. I shall try to remember exactly what I said and give the best translation that I can. The Hon. Prime Minister, Ariel Sharon. there is only one way forward in the conflict with the Palestinians and the Arab world and the sooner you act upon my advice the better it will be for Israel. You must hold a press conference and invite all the press associations who are represented in Israel. More importantly you must invite all the ambassadors or official representatives of states who have relations with Israel, diplomatic or otherwise. This press conference should be held on the Knesset forecourt with the Menora in the background as you speak. The words you should say should be in Hebrew with two exceptions and there should be no possibility of posing questions at the end of your speech. This is what you should say. This land, The Land of Israel belongs to the Jewish Nation. One more bullet or shell fired by an Arab at us. One more death of an Israeli citizen by the hand of an Arab terrorist. One more act of aggression against our Land or our People wil be considered Cassus Belli. A formal declaration of war will follow with an advance warning of 24 hours and an appeal to the population to lay down their arms and flee or suffer the consequences. Thank you for your attention. At this point you should simply turn around and walk back into your office at the Knesset and be determined to carry out your threat to the letter. There is no other way. With respect Yakov Shani

Today's carnage in TA is one reason why here will NEVER be a pali state!

We therefore are saying the same things! We are both urging the sleepers to wake up and act. The mistakes of 1967 have served us with a prolonged punishment that needs an opportunity to be rectified. I say that opportunity is forthcoming soon. I also say that this time round the opportunity will grant us further benefits than that lost in 1967. Why? Because this time round Islam as a whole will be dealt with by Israel and the West. You would be perfectly correct with your earlier summation IF both Israel and the West did not react. Furthermore, I do not agree with you that they have the right ideas and policies but I would agree that we and the West do not, for the moment. I am pleased to see that deep down we belong to the same camp of thought. Moadim le-simcha.

Shalom, and keep on doing what your doing. I'm glad to have read your views and priorities, and I find that I am in full agreement with them. May israel stand for an eternity.

Now you have me and hundreds of thousands more totally behind you. This positive suggestion should be drummed up daily so it gains support and eventually force the Israeli government to act upon it. Kol hakavod.
70. Unaware!
Ram ,   London   (04.17.06)
I was unaware of this attack when I wrote my last posting. If our government reacts in the same old manner, it is about time Israeli citizens made their voices heard and forced the goverment to carry their will. Forget about "poor Palestinian women and children". Their entire population rejoices at this butchery of Jews whilst the endless number of would be shahids in the pipeline consists of boys and girls from the age of zero upwords. Be merciful to Israeli women and children not their would be killers.

Never in the history of mankind have disease or pestilence been responsible for the depletion or degredation of population numbers. As for populations not having the possibilty to increase in a backward society or in adverse territorial and clamatic conditions I suggest you take a look at Africa. A short study of all African countries, both Saharan and Sub Saharan will fly in the face of your assertions. Wake up and extricate yourself from your dream. There are two exceptions to what I said in the first sentence. Easter Island, estimated maximum population before depletion about 6 thousand and Pitcairn Island, highest ever population 223. Obviously no bearing on your assertion or on the future of our society.

One doesn't leave a cult unless one is deprogrammed. There aer millions of people who have been brainwashed by this cult called Islam.
